The best aspect of my university experience has been the opportunity to immerse myself in a vibrant academic community. Engaging with a diverse group of peers and faculty, each bringing unique perspectives and expertise to the table, has been incredibly enriching. The hands-on projects and the practical application of theoretical knowledge in fields such as data analytics and machine learning have not only enhanced my technical skills but also my problem-solving capabilities. This practical exposure has prepared me well for the challenges of the professional world. Conversely, the worst aspect has been the occasional lack of support and guidance in navigating the academic and administrative processes of the university. There were times when the information was not communicated effectively, making it difficult to understand course requirements, assessment criteria, and available resources. Additionally, the transition to online learning during periods of remote education sometimes resulted in a feeling of disconnection from the university community, impacting the overall learning experience and making it challenging to stay engaged and motivated. Overall, while there have been challenges, the positives of my university experience have far outweighed the negatives, providing me with a solid foundation for my future career and personal growth.

Really supportive team of lecturers/ tutors. Ideal as a uni for a mature student working full time. Not much of a student life vibe but it what I’m looking for at this stage. May not appeal to younger generation. Facilities have been improved a lot recently. Good resources available for research.

I was unfortunately studying during Covid lockdown so my experience in university was limited. I missed out on clinical skills time and face to face teaching so it is difficult for me to give a fair summary, most if not all was online.
