My overall experience was very positive. the lecturers was supportive, and the MBA programme was valuable for my professional development. More flexibility with assignment deadlines would be appreciated

UHI is a fantastic university for distance learning courses. The support that they provide is assuring, teachers are helpful and knowledgeable, and the intended learning outcomes are very clearly outlined from the very start. Accordingly, I enthusiastically recommend studying the PG distance learning courses through the UHI!

There are times where I think more representation of different countries and people would be beneficial. This uni has predominantly Scottish student which is fine but it’s at such a high proportion that there seems to be often too similar views and ideas rather than being more multicultural.

The facilities are great, we have access to everything we need for our coursework and more. There is a gym and loads of options for sport. The uni holds events for all sorts of holidays and activities. The student union is really supportive. There are great initiatives for sustainability. Student life separate from the uni, as far as I’ve noticed, is very nightlife based but that might just be because I haven’t explored enough.
