Bangor is in a beautiful location with lots of natural beauty surrounding it. I find it really good to keep positive mental health outside of studying by going for walks etc. Bangor itself is quite small, with limited entertainment, but there are plenty of coffee shops and pubs and two clubs. Bangor library is a great resource for studying, the only criticism to the university facilities would be a lack of available study space, especially during busy times such as exam season.

great content with flexible choices for optional modules. great amount of field work that utilises what we have around us. online resources are very helpful. I would like more time with my personal tutor.

great location, close to university buildings and supermarket. it is quiet at night which is nice, and feels safe. there is a gym onsite which is free to students in halls which is a massive bonus. parking is usually okay but sometimes struggled to get parked during the weekends when members of the public were there to use the sports facilities.
