The city is amazing, loads to do during the day and night. Lots of support available and great staff. So many societies there’s one for everyone, lots of activities for freshers to discover something new too. Cant think of any complaints really - only thing is not being a campus uni you need to be prepared to have a few walks around the city to get where you need to go

Everything taught in person with a good mix of hours for study and learning. Some aspects of language learning are very confusing and it’s hard to understand sometimes when the tutor only allows French in the classroom

The location is great although it is a 30 min walk from all lessons. The value for money isn’t the best as it’s not very modern, not enough cupboard space in the kitchen and a fair few things have broken so far but they are always quickly replaced. However I wouldn’t trade it for a thing as the room has great space and storage and the kitchen is a great area for socialising. I’ve met my favourite people in my flat :)

Sheffield as a city is a great place to be - it's not too big or too small and the transport links are excellent! Sheffield's student union is great too, there's always events on and we have seen people such as Nick Grimshaw, Julio Bashmore and Professor Green play there in the last year. As for the walk to and from uni, it is a bit of a trek but you can also get the bus which runs every ten minutes.
