Sheffield uni is a great place to study and live in, it is a vibrant city with lots to offer, and the university provides great academic and social support. There are so many societies to choose from, the Students’ Union is amazing and the Foundry is really good

The course is really interesting and varied, however I feel there could be more contact hours. The tutors are very helpful and feedback is good, however there could potentially be more of it. The lecturers are specialists and are very knowledgeable and engaging

I loved living in halls, they had lots of facilities, I had a lovely flat and it’s so close to so many other people so it’s very sociable. It’s very green and there’s lots of outdoor space, there’s a bar and restaurant, study space, you can have bbqs on the green and there is a music practice room.

Great area - greenest city in europe with hundreds of lovely parks as well as tight on the edge of the Peak District. The area is friendly, affordable and very pretty. The Medical School is great. The Graduate-Entry course is structured so that the first six weeks is covering Phase One (first yearof the UG course) before joining the second year UGs from November onwards. Vast amounts of hospital experience - an initial 14 week long placement (LICP1), followed by focused rotations in Psychiatry, Neurology, Geriatric, Paediatric, Women's Health, GP and and elective rotation. The final years are spent studying Emergency Medicine, Palliative Care, a further GP placement, another elective and then two further long placements (LICP2 and LICP3), similar to LICP1. After finals and prior to starting as an F1 the university runs an F1 adaption programme/ assistantship to prepare student for life as an F1. No complaints, a great Medical School in a great city!
