Great facilities, really good institution to learn at with lots of resources and support. The only thing holding this uni back is the location being out of the city which made me feel as though I didn’t quite get the university experience which I expected

Is very obvious that all lecturers are passionate about what they teach, lectures are fairly good at explaining the course, and if not the reading or YouTube videos they recommend normally helps to solidify my understanding. Lectures are 3 hours long however breaks are given inbetween and the long lectures mean that there are less contact hours needed overall. Lectures are all very prompt at responding to emails.

Do not stay here if you want to be involved in the hustle and bustle of university. Houses are difficult as you are sharing with 12 people, I would not recommend.

UWE is a great uni to maintain a work-life balance. With a good range of activities for you to indulge in your leisure time, to a comprehensive choice of subject mules (at least for my course - LLB Law) ; you're bound to enjoy your time here in Bristol! :)

UWE has a decent range of facilities, but given the high accommodation fees, one would expect the gym membership to be included. Otherwise, the library offers a plethora of useful materials, and students would be able to access further websites from the uni computers.

There are multiple information points throughout campus, and students would be able to book appointments with student advisers or academic tutors for university and academic related queries respectively.

An active student union plans and organizes multiple inspiring and empowering campaigns throughout the year.

Bristol is a great place to enjoy, both in the city and in the countryside! I am sure there is something for everyone, from shopping enthusiasts to the party animal to the nature lover, you'll be able to have a taste of everything Bristol has to offer.

There are a good range of clubs and societies in UWE, both big and small. I like the diversity here and there are many new and interesting clubs to join and experience!

The synchronized lecture slides and handouts makes it easy to follow the lesson plan. Also, fortnightly tutorials ensure students are able to catch up without putting too much burden on them with regards to long hours in class.

UWE is widely accredited and recognized in England, but not so from my home country (Malaysia)

While on campus accommodation is comfortable and pleasant, it comes at a very steep price. Also, priority goes to students who have not stayed on campus.
