The professors are usually quite friendly and this allows students in general, including myself to feel more inclined to approach them with any queries we have whereas otherwise we’d end up not asking them for help due to simply finding them a bit intimidating. I do have an issue with the student info point team because I know multiple people who have sent queries to them and haven’t heard back in a very long time, this includes myself, during around a month or two into second year, I emailed them about my grade information since this was vital in applying for placements which I desperately wanted, and after countless emails, all I got was responses saying this has been forwarded and they’d be in touch soon multiple times, and it’s been a good couple months and I’ve heard no update even after following up multiple times, this has made me unable to actually apply to a lot of placements which play a significant role in job applications after my graduation, simply because I wasn’t gotten back to even after I said how important this is and that I needed this information when sending applications since they were a requirement in the application. I don’t like how it’s a very, teach your self type of learning because while I understand how it seems effective and I’m sure it is to a certain extent as I do enjoy it a bit, it does however get to a point where I realise I could find all the material on blackboard but it’s about 95% of what we need and the other 5% is in lectures, I find it really frustrating since if it was more of an even split we’d find it appealing to actually come into class since it wouldn’t be a waste of time as more often than not unfortunately it is, I’ve left classes countless time after realising that the class doesn’t really give us any information or help

The social aspect was great, maintenance was great, but it is just overall quite expensive, views and location was amazing though
