Makes it a great place to study because of the facilities related to the industry such as the Bloomberg terminal. However the bad side is the campus and how small it is.
Campus open 24/7
Everything is great apart from the fact we aren’t offered student halls in 1st year. Meaning the commute each day isn’t great, travelling roughly 1.5 hours each day. That’s the only thing that lets it down, if that were to be the case then it would be an easy 5* rating.
The months being at LIBF has been amazing! I made friends immediately and felt like home as soon as I came in. The staff here are really understanding and quick to respond to problems. It has been a great place to study at for the time being. The only suggestion on how it could be improved is if the uni had more fun activities. If we were able to interact with more students around London and if we had more fun activities hosted by the uni.
I enjoy it a lot everything is great they teach you really interesting courses and most the lecturers are great the only problem is they don't offer you student housing for first year making it harder for people who commute quite far

Good variety of networking and events, however I would like maybe more opportunities to gain relevant industry experience.
Facilities are great. Lecturers could be better - more involved and tuitional with regards to mentoring.
Fantastic atmosphere for exploring my interest in finance!
Student support team and networking opportunities are brilliant !! Uni is relatively small so social events could be worked on
Best aspect: 1) personalised attention from professors, greater opportunities participation and engagement due to the small size of the class 2) Tight-knit community of students and faculty, leading to meaningful networking and collaboration 3) Hands-on learning experiences and internships within the UK finance industry (above all boutiques), building valuable skills and connections Worst aspects: 1) limited course offerings and resources 2) Few opportunities for extracurricular activities and campus events 3) Not international
The London institute of banking and finance has a very good location as a financial institute. Everything is stone-throw away. The best thing is its speciality in banking or finance. Focused on the subjects makes it very professional and excellent for financial students. Improvement can be done regarding student support and career networking events.
There is no social life surrounding this university. It has no designated accommodation so a vast majority of students commute in. The course is okay - think of this university as more of a 6th form that gives you a degree.

The concept of the uni is great. A smaller uni class size that allows you to have more access to your lecturers and facility staff. The ability to attend libf events and meet members of the industry to network. However the uni had been through a lot of personnel changes through covid which has meant support and contact hasn’t been what is promised. The networking events have been non-existent until part way through the third year due to covid which is annoying as it was one of the main reason i chose the uni. The facility’s have been alright but due to the campus size and the lack of a london student union building anymore meant we don’t get anywhere near the access to facility’s ad other unis get. Personally I’ve not had the greatest time but for new students I the future this uni is a great place to go

An excellent location, with a very modern city feel. Very small classes compared to bigger unis so easier to build rapport with lecturers and able to ask questions whenever!
Great improvement of student support team and facilities since first year
This is a good institution to study at. Good level of teaching and modules provided. Facilities are good, it would be better if the library was opened for longer hours and during weekends too. Support is well provided and responsive for any need.
I just transferred to London Institute of Banking and Finance in September 2022. I was looking for more opportunities and an adventure as I found me previous university unfulfilling. Of course, I was anxious to change universities but the LIBF community made it a smooth process. The staff were truly supportive with the transfer and helped each step of the way, but still gave me that independence. When I joined within the first week of classes I knew I made the right decision. I was immersed in a supportive yet healthy competitive environment which I think was necessary to strive for the best within my degree. The methods of teaching within LIBF are very hands on and truly helpful. Of course I still face some struggles but I know I have the support system if I reach out. The staff are truly helpful, especially the support team and the careers team. The careers team are a very helpful part of the university showing me a range of options for my career, and truly that is what all students need, so I am very satisfied. The only point of improval is the communication process which I have had some troubles with- mostly technical. Although, have been promptly fixed when addressed. To summarise, I am truly happy at the university I am now. I am surrounded by amazing supportive people, and in one of the most wondrous cities in the world.

LIBF is very good university if you want to get into finance as it specialised for the sector. Location is good and people.
Courses are filled with a good amount of information to learn from and the lecturers are good but they talk soooo fast.
