Overall, it is a very good university which doesn't lack any aspect behind when providing facilities to student and has very friendly environment.
All of the provided facilities are authentic to study , learn and successed.
The best aspect of my university experience is definitely the student support. Studying and living in a new country as an international student can be incredibly nerve-wracking, but I have been assisted very efficiently. I am lucky to have really nice lecturers who seem to like teaching. They are really patient and do everything they can to help you in any areas where you may be struggling. This has really helped me get used to the UK's academic culture in good time. Accommodation services on campus have also been quick to help and respond to emails on various things to do with my living situation. When I first arrived and was still trying to find my way around campus, there were many friendly staff members ready to help, which made everything so much easier. The worst aspect is the weather. Coming from a really warm country, I definitely went into shock when I got here. The temperatures here are much lower than back home, and the wind makes it feel colder than it actually is. It takes quite some time to fully adjust, but the second you do adjust, the temperature drops again. The sun setting really early has also been really hard to get used to. I also fell victim to fresher's flu, which is probably the worst flu I have ever experienced. The medical system also works really differently here, which made it so difficult to get medical attention and even then, there wasn't much they could do to help. Something that could be improved would be informing students before term time on the flu and how to handle it, especially for international students who would not be aware of it. Also in the accommodation, it would probably be better not to have carpet flooring in the rooms, as they are harder to keep clean and the fluff from it is not the best for those suffering from respiratory issues. It would probably be beneficial to have a clean mop for the flat and a dust pan to help pick up dirt when cleaning.
The fact that there is fairness for religion and culture means everyone is treated equally. As a person of faith, I found it fascinating to join the Friday prayer at the sports center every week, which demonstrates the university's commitment to balance. These are not just words but actual actions, showing their investment in our success and doing what is needed to help us achieve good grades instead of causing stress. I also hope the university will celebrate more diverse international days, encouraging all students to participate. This would give us a real chance to experience different cultures and better understand diversity.

Best: Supportive lecturers, inclusive environment, and strong focus on practical, real-world learning. Worst: Communication about timetables, placements, and assessments can sometimes be unclear or late. Overall: A great place to study with caring staff—clearer and more timely communication would make it even better.
It offers high-quality teaching, modern facilities, and a supportive academic environment that helps students grow both intellectually and personally. Passionate professors, well-designed programs, and access to resources such as libraries etc that allow students to develop strong skills and explore new interests
Best this is how all students are friendly and makes you feel like it’s your second home. I feel like if we had more facilities the uni will be way better and will have more students attending in the future

The university has all the facilities and moreover the peaceful ambience … Something that could be improved is much more entertainment facilities in the hub
My experience at UWE has been really positive overall. UWE is a great place to study because of its supportive learning environment and modern facilities. The teaching staff are genuinely approachable and always willing to help, especially during practicals and assessments, which has made a big difference in my confidence and learning. The campus is well organised with excellent study spaces, a well equipped library, and strong digital learning resources, as well as being surrounded by such a diverse group of students. My course feels well organised and relevant to real life settings, which motivates me. sometimes wellbeing support can be difficult to access during busy periods. Overall, UWE feels like a welcoming, career-focused university that I am genuinely adapting to.
UWE is a great place to study because it combines strong academic teaching with practical, career-focused learning. The lecturers are supportive, approachable, and bring real world experience into their teaching, which makes the learning feel relevant and engaging. The university also offers excellent facilities from modern libraries and simulation suites to well equipped study spaces which allow students to learn in a comfortable and professional environment. Also UWE’s emphasis on inclusivity, student wellbeing, and personal development also sets it apart. There are plenty of opportunities for students to get involved in placements, volunteering, societies, and skills development programs. The university’s diverse community and supportive learning culture make it a place where students feel valued, challenged, and encouraged to grow academically and personally. Although UWE provides a strong learning experience, there are a few areas where it could continue to improve. Communication around placement allocations, and assessment changes could be more consistent to help students plan their workload more effectively. Increasing the availability of quiet study spaces during peak times, especially during exam seasons, would also support students who need focused environments. Some students would benefit from more regular academic support such as scheduled check-ins, enhanced access to tutors, and clearer guidance during assessments. In terms of placements, improving coordination between the university and practice areas could ensure smoother transitions and reduce uncertainty. Finally, continued investment in upgrading digital platforms and ensuring reliable access to online resources would further strengthen the learning experience.
Everything is great! Only issue is my money and budgetting but i will get better with this over time.
I have throughly enjoyed studying at UWE, Bristol over the last four months. Both campuses have a lot to offer with excellent facilities for all students to use when they wish both in and outside of the healthcare facilities. The range of options for placement, specifically relating to my course are great and stretch across the majority of the South-West of England, providing different opportunities for each individual. Outside of my degree I have had the opportunity to be apart of sports teams, opening myself up to new social experiences and playing against neighbouring university teams. This is a great way of immersing yourself in UWE's culture and making friendships with both older and younger individuals studying at the university. I believe UWE Bristol is a great place to study with the surrounding city having so much to offer within the social aspect. It is a very unique, vibrant and diverse city which is great for any university student. The only piece of advise for how my experience could be improved is communication aspects between students and staff. There can be mixed communication between the two or delayed information which can frustrate students and I believe if the university worked on this aspect it could be amazing.

Being able to socialise outside was a bit difficult as a international student and the Accomodation provided had fire alarms at midnights which really disturbs the sleeps of people and also it’s frustrating afterwards when we got to know that it’s just a drill. In our module it’ll be great if we could be provided with the modules before hand like way before just one week and are provided with some additional assistance as an international student. Other than these this uni is a great opportunity for all of the students to rise and shine. It has a great community that’s the UWE family which helps you a lot personally and this uni offers tremendous support for the students. I’d really appreciate this uni and the staff for being so helpful and supportive especially at times of need.

Presence of nature. Student support. Diverse culture Advanced facilities
I absolutely love this uni and my overall experience. I don't think I have any bad aspects of it in mind...
Facilities and labs best Weather worst
Best - Easygoing Worst - Some modules could be taught better
I enjoy all the opportunities available for students. What I don't like about UWE is how they mainly focus on the Frenchay campus; it feels like the students on Glenside are completely neglected. At that point, there are no facilities at Glenside, not even a workout gym or sports gym.

Overall my experience at UWE:- -Quality of teaching -I appreciate the practical , real world focus of the biomedical science. - Provides an excellent , modern student environment with plenty of space and accessible technology. -The student union events fosters a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere.
Overall, the Biomedical Science course provides the practical laboratory component. The time spent in the dedicated haematology and clinical biochemistry labs was excellent.
I have a mixed experience with the halls. - I appreciate the proximity to the main theatres and library which saved significant time and travel costs. - safety and security -Reliable, Fast-Wi-Fi - Common room/social space
