We have all help that we need provided from the university which makes our study easier.
I love it as a mature student.

The support at times and the response of staff is very slow and questions are at times ignored.
2/10 at best, go to another uni in the area. Did not learn enough at all to warrant the cost of learning here. The communication was awful, the support was awful, not worth it at all.
It’s been an interesting start and not the easiest start due to COVID but if you are in need off support the lectures will help you or lead you in the direction to receive help.

Good organization for all kind of events. Everyone's there to help is you need it. The lecures are very good and you learn everything you need in order to finish your degree with good knowledge.
Bad. Really terrible. I found it very hard to get any real learning done with a university with such bad facilities, the library in particular was terrible. Whilst there is the opportunity to ask the university to order in books, most of the time that’s not how university learning works. Reading leads you on a journey to discover new books from the references to continue your quest for knowledge, but when the library stocks core texts and not much else then it’s nigh on impossible.
Terrible. Would not return or recommend for any further study within the health and social care field. Cannot comment for any other subject areas but there are better institutions within sensible commuting distance that it wouldn't be difficult to beat the service UoS are providing.
Great! Even with student loans due to come 6 weeks late lectures have been so supportive! It is a beautiful University, friendly people, they have great food (great vegan options), the general feeling in the building is warm and intimate. Lecturers so far have been willing to chat after class about any issues we have or just to genuinely check in and see how we are it's fab
Lecturers very involved, personal tutors, everyone cares and has time for you

I’m loving it, but I would feel more at ease if there was a space for women who are nursing/expressing to do this unrestricted. The tutors and student advisors have all been very helpful, although the learning services team seems a bit stretched for help.
The experience at university is like none other as it is the first step into a world of freedom and independence. My flat mates in particular have been so supportive and helped my find my feet to stand on.

Quite good so far. Class is small, easy to meet people. Be organised right from the start Turn up to the first lecture of each module ALWAYS Don't expect too much social life-wise Try and join some societies. Not compulsory but it helps you meet new people Be friendly. Everybody's in a similar situation so don't be afraid to shake some hands and say hello
its been really positive and I have loved it so far. There is a lot of support available and its a great atmosphere to learn and thrive in. in addition the lectures are well skilled and knowledge to help us
I'm just really pleased to be learning something I truly enjoy. I felt a bit lonely especially to start with as everyone I know moved away but I'm getting more used to being here and slowly making friends.
UCS is a fantastic university, which sits on the waterfront with fantastic facilities with macs and other desktops scattered throughout the uni as well as a well equipped library across the road.
Great atmosphere and building great subjects and support brilliant facilities and cheap food and drink great library and study dupport beautiful surroundings staff are great and their teaching skills along with dyslexia support avali able

Make sure to have some medical staff around. I’ve dealt with an incident and there was no one around. It is a great place to study as it is on the waterfront and I like the location. It’s also modern
Really well
