University life here is great for me, because Huddersfield isn't too big of a place. It is fairly easy to know my way around. The university isn't too confusing once you learn the layout either. The way the lecturers teach is in a very good way, and they make the learning experience friendly and easy to understand.
The university of Huddersfield is a great university. The tutors are helpful and there is a variety of courses to suit a range of career paths. The halls of residence how ever are a no. They are terrible. Too far away from the university, and it's always noisy.
University life at Huddersfield is quite good, but the halls of residence are bad, and should be avoided. Aside from that, everything else is excellent quality. It is a joyous experience to be at Huddersfield and i am gland i chose to come here.
The university is filled with amazing equipment. The facilities are outstanding. There is always spare rooms for students to work in, and there is always help offered from tutors. The town is good. There are plenty of small shops, food shops, and places to drink. all in all it's a great place to be.
The people and staff at Huddersfield University are very helpful and friendly. The city is a nice place to be in, as there are plenty of shops for everyones needs. I really enjoy living at Huddersfield, and i am enjoying my time here. I would recommend it to anyone.
The student union/council are a very nice addition to the university. It's nice to have normal students being able to get involved with major decisions around the university, and help us students get our voices heard. In the first year, things seemed to be so unorganized. There were constant room changes, and the tutors didn't seem to know how to explain their subject very well. However, after the first year things got better. My course seems to be in good shape now, and has no problems. Other courses also seem to be in an overall good condition.
The university has a nice modern finish, which fits in well with the surrounding area. The course is fun, the lectures are kept interesting, and the tutors are friendly. The tutors seem to want to do everything they can for you to succeed, so it's nice to have that support. The university itself however could have some more space for study. It lacks good study areas, and the library is small. There is also a lack of food places within the university, although town itself has plenty. The town is full of places to eat, and has a handful of supermarkets. It's a good university to go to because of both the standard of teaching and the area.
I hate the fact that the university can't figure out the correct information to give to the students and the international students. Things always seem to be changing, and even the timetables are mixed up. The university would be a lot better if they just got their information right. As for the facilities i can't complain, there are plenty of places to get on with work.
The university does not have a free students car park near, which is disappointing, and the Wardens don't do a good job, but as for everything else, it's great. Huddersfield is a good place to be, and the university has good resources.
Overall, the university is very modern. All the staff are friendly and easy to get along with. The resources for all courses seems to be good. The ones for my course are excellent. The university can be a bit difficult to navigate around at first, but once the map is explained it's easy to remember. The cafeteria area and starbucks in the students building are nice touches, and add to the welcoming feeling and friendly atmosphere of the university.
There are a lot of opportunities to socialize and help you meet new people. Such things like the Students Union, and the clubs all help bring people together and talk, which i think is a brilliant idea. Also, with the recent creating of the new SU. it is amazing. The resources for the course also is very good. There is always time for work.
Huddersfield University is to me one, of the best Universities to attend because of the facilities it offers as it has 6 photographic studios with professional equipment and a mac suite, the negative side of Huddersfield, is that the town is a bit dead, but the night life is great if you're into that sort of thing because of first hand experience working in nightclubs as the photographer, but yeah an over all rating would be 8/10.
My overall impression of the university is that it is extremely good. The course is well thought, and placements are undertaken within the first term. The university provides an excellent placement service, in which they help you every step of the way to find a placement. All staff and students are friendly and i love being a student here.
The university is great. The students and staff are friendly, and it's a very nice place to be in. The town is also great, because it is small. The train station is close to the uni which is very helpful for people like myself that travel. The tutors are helpful and the facilities are good.
Life at Huddersfield university is one of ease, especially as i live at home. The university are able to provide support for various issues and problems, which helps a lot as a first year. I feel the university is able to encourage its students to get involved with societies, and extra-curricular activities. Unlike other universities i have visited, so far i'm really pleased with how the university of Huddersfield has treated students, and any issues are picked up by the SU or tutors and quickly dealt with.
The university has good resources for everyone. If someone has any troubles, there is plenty of help and support from the people who are here. Huddersfield is a good choice for a university.
The work load on my course can be overwhelming at times, so it's a challenge to find time to fit in life. However, the facilities around the university are fantastic, and the tutors are very helpful when it comes to making to work less stressful. The town is fairly small, but i wouldn't let that put anyone off. It's a wonderful university, and the small down allows you to know where things are easily. There are plenty of places to drink, shop, and relax. I would suggest Huddersfield to anyone interested in going to university.
The university is very helpful when it comes to finding a placement. There is a placement unit that is there for the main purpose of helping students find work placements, and they are great. They give good advice and it is a very nice thing to have at the university.
The work load can be pretty difficult to deal with at times, but when it is the tutors are very helpful and supportive to make it as stress free as possible. The work load is actually very good for setting us up in the industry, as we will have to deal with a lot of work. The facilities are really good, and the university tries all it can to keep up to date with all the facilities. Town is nice. It's small, but easy to find your way around. The train station is only a 5 minute walk away from the University, so not bad if you're travelling in.

The lecturers are friendly and are always on time, and the students are always friendly and talkative. The courses are all very specific too, which helps when deciding on a course. Huddersfield offers a good amount of courses, and the lecturers give you good support and advice.
