Great city Welcoming staff Amazing university Met some amazing people For future students I’d say go out of your comfort zone and try things you wouldn’t normally do, you’ll be surprised at the new things that you come to find that you actually like.
The social life at my university is extremely good, everyone is very sociable and connected. The teaching: lectures and seminars are very useful and informative.
If you live in birmigham and you have a friend group then I advice you to go to this uni it will be very fun ! However if you don’t know anybody BCU will be very boring for you as most people are From a Asian background and tend not to mix a lot
It has been awful, anyone who says this uni is good is only in their first year. THIS UNIVERSITY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT IT'S STUDENTS!!!! If you can get that through your heads then you won't be disappointed (maybe) if you go here. Everything that this uni does is to further it's own name, often at the expense of providing a good student experience. This is often demonstrated by their lack of response following a student complaint/feedback. It has a 10% drop-out rate across ALL it's courses! I don't know how they can say that they have 82% student satisfaction (I can only imagine it's because they do not include negative comments in their scores). The only good thing about my whole experience is that my course has been funded by the NHS which means I leave without any student dept. Even then I don't think it has been value for money... If I could give this univeristy an overall score of no stars, then I would.
Finished my final year. If I had a choice to redo the last three years then I would not come here. The course is of poor quality, the work placements are of poor quality and whenever there is an assignment or exam, the marking criteria is very vague and open to some serious interpretation. The people on the course are not the friendliest; people form their little groups early on and are unwilling to mix.
Awesome! I love the university, the people and the overall experience. There is nowhere else I would go if I had to make the decision one more time.
I found the translation from college a bit difficult at first as university teaches you to think for yourself. But I stuck at it and I love it! I'm so proud and privileged to have studied here.
bCU is a good uni and support is good but teaching ould improve.

This is a fab place to study. The staff are friendly and helpful and the course is well thought out. It has a mixture of exams and coursework and great resources.
Birmingham City University offers high level of teaching in my particular course. I cannot imagine working on more modern facilities then there are available at our university. We have excellent student support ready to give help in all possible required subjects whenever needed.

So far I’m having a excellent experience, as the lecturers offer so much help so you come out with the best possible grade and help you gain skills you will need for the outside world
It is in an excellent place for walking to the uni but it’s needs a nearer shop as it’s not safe to walk to the closest shop when it is dark
There is a wide range

The safety, condition, location and cost is all good and reasonable however my flat is a lot smaller than some others in the building and is unfair I pay the same as someone does with a bigger flat
