Best - Facilities and community Worst - Sometimes lecturers not very helpful
There is a lot to do on campus all the time, with loads of amazing societies I get to try something new really often, which makes life on campus more exciting. There are loads of really nice study spaces which help you to focus, and you can study with friends in classrooms/group study rooms too. Maybe having some more spaces for peak times e.g. exam season would be nice, but I normally manage to find somewhere to work either way
There are lots of study spaces but the SU is expensive and rarely has events and the buses make it kind of a bad location
I really like the campus element of bath, it’s really easy to get to all of your lectures since they are so close to eachother. The students union is really good and has good activities for every day of the week. In general the night life is quite terrible in bath but I don’t mind that I’m not much of a clubber.
The SU is definitely one of the best things at University of Bath as there are so many events going on and so many societies you can get involved in (and lots of them are free!). However, transport links to the University are often late and it is quite far from student housing which is the other side of the city.
There are lots of societies and the student union puts on lots of activities. The online noodle hub for work is easy to navigate and makes it easy to stay on top of work. I think it would be good if there was a cheaper shop for groceries on campus as coop is quite expensive. Also more meetings with lecturers or academic advisors (?) in smaller groups to ask questions or understand topics more easily as i find it hard to ask questions about the topics and struggle knowing what to do when i am stuck.
The University is very dedicated to climate action and sustainability. The study spaces are well managed by friendly and approachable members of staff that are happy to help. The main highlight of studying at the University of Bath is the support I received before and whilst applying for placements. The placement and careers teams give you tailored feedback on your CVs and applications helping to make an otherwise very daunting process alot easier to navigate. One thing that could be improved though is the need for more reliable buses to and from campus. I also think the 1st year student accommodation on campus could be alot more affordable.
The best aspect is the facilities available. From sports to engineering there’s everything we need on campus. The worst thing about the university is maybe the out of fashion architecture style, this is a personal preference but I think the buildings look a bit dull. Maybe some more colours or modern architecture would help to liven up the place.
There's great support for students at the university of bath; any emails sent to lecturers or any other staff member at the university is responded to quickly. The less nicer aspects here is the university buildings, they aren't the most attractive to look at e.g. norwood house and wessex house.
Extremely supportive student and staff environment. Beautiful city and lovely people. Challenging and well thought out courses.
Worst: I played lots of netball at home before university and haven’t made it into any team and there aren’t any regular social teams that train and play! Best: on campus sport facilities… pool and gym
Great reputation, very understanding community, perfectly academic yet we have fun
It has a good student outreach with lots of activities on offer, however if you don't drink it feels like you're missing out on a lot, because most students go out for drinks or clubbing.
I love going to a campus university because everything is close together in one place and the library is great to study in. It is also really easy to get a bus into the city if you live off-campus and want to spend some time getting a coffee or something and studying at a cafe when you have more time in-between lectures and don’t want to go home. One way it could be improved is just having more study spaces because it gets really busy during the day when people are waiting in-between their lectures and all the study spaces are full because they don’t have much else to do.
School of management is excellent. High standards of teaching and the careers team are awesome at both helping to find year long placements and grad jobs at the end of your course, giving us excellent career prospects. Sports facilities are awesome and comprehensive too. To improve, some of the buildings on campus are a little outdated and the cost of living on campus can be a bit high.
The University of Bath offers an excellent academic experience with a strong emphasis on both teaching quality and employability. The campus is beautiful, clean, and well-organised, with great facilities including modern lecture theatres, sports amenities, and study spaces. The staff are very supportive and approachable, and the courses are well structured with a good balance of theory and practical work. Bath’s placement year opportunities are particularly valuable, giving students real-world experience before graduation. The city itself is safe, historic, and friendly — perfect for students who want a balance between a vibrant student community and a relaxed environment. Overall, a fantastic place to study and live
The community is very welcoming and supportive
Bus is too expensive to get into town but it’s a really pretty city
The student support is excellent although some campus facilities are quite old and the feel is quite industrial.

Being on the top of a hill is quite inconvenient as it’s a pain to walk too. Half of campus is nice and modern and the other half is old. The stv is good though.
The course has a mix of online and in person with some guest lectures. It’s engaging and the workload isn’t too much.
I didn’t want shared bathrooms but ended up with one. When I was there it was cleaned every 2 weeks which was good.
