The annual Whatuni Student Choice Awards (WUSCAs) highlight the incredible work carried out by institutions for their students. Due to Covid restrictions, this year’s awards were not collected on uni campuses as usual, but instead based on submissions from institutions, which were then judged by our special student panel.

Very very good. I love my classes, friends, and my placement currently. I have had a lot of experiences talking to services users already- I only started in September! We also have a lot of hours in the skills labs. I have learnt a lot from this such as how to take manual BP, and how to dress a wound.
I am only in my first few months so I’m not really to sure. We have just received our first placement however. The organising teams are very considerate of how student get to their placements.
My course has a very big cohort- that’s the only negative really as we don’t have 1-1 time with out lecturers. However I am very happy with all of my fellow peers and how well suited everybody is to each other- we all have similar aspirations and characteristics which makes friend making very good.
Very good! Support the students fantastically.
Very good! A lot of character with a mix of old architectural features and brand new skills labs etc.
Yes definitely, not far from the bull ring
I am not involved in any, but I know there’s a load available, 10/10
The lecturers are always available to talk to us about any concerns we may have, we also have contact with a team of specialists who are able to help students with their mental health or any other special needs they may acquire.
Great. It is fun and interesting to do. I would highly recommend this university to future generations to come. Teachers are interested in teaching you new stuff.
