Student support is worst
Worst - The student finance team were completely unsympathetic and difficult to work with Best - Amazing tutors who were very supportive throughout university
The induction days were helpful and able to welcome me into university life in a fun and entertaining way.

Great staff and world class facilities
The faculty helps us out whenever we are stuck with our learning. They are always on their toes and help us out when we need them. As I’m an international student my course mate took care of me during the first week. Campus is the place where we chill after our lecture. We have fun times there and the other place we have to go is the union. The events help us meet with other students and make new friends.

The facilities are great and there's plenty of resources to help with study.
Good environment for studies and an amazing new library. Student life is okay
The best thing about Kingston is the library and the personal tutor scheme. As well as having a good environment to work in each student has a personal tutor to guide you in every aspect of your uni life
The best experience I have had from uni was the friends I've life made for life, on and outside of my course. The teachers and also the whole uni experience at Kingston has been amazing so far. The worst experience has been the online lectures for all my modules - definitely felt unmotivated.

Nice place to study with good facilities. Poor communication of societies, sports clubs and events going on.

Some staff members are very helpful and supportive, others not so much!
Poor social life, no motivation for talented people

There is a lack of student coordination for events and causes that target students. The amount of strike action days have significantly impacted learning, particularly in the third year of study. I would not expect as a paying customer, to be missing out on three weeks of education, towards the end of my final year. However, the facilities are lovely and new, particularly the townhouse library is a great place to get work done individually and in groups.

Love the location and classes. Teachers seem take a long time to reply to emails, however this does not apply to all.
The majority of staff members are exceptionally helpful and the university's efforts towards constant improvement are unmatched

Great lecturer's with interesting topics and methods to teach. Worst experience would probably be assignment deadlines being too close to each other when there over is a month gap between last lecture and exams. Last assignment which is very important (research proposal) feels rushed.

The worst aspect is how crowded the classrooms get when deadlines are near, as there’s not enough room for the amount of students. The best aspect is how the course is structured, and the new building which is always a pleasure to be in. I love the 24hour library where I’m always working.

One of my lecturers is also my personal tutor who always makes sure that he is available for us when we have concerns and makes the lecturer fun but informative. The university is quite close to the town centre and the river so there are nice places to go to if you've got big gaps in your timetable.
I get a lot of email about work placement and other opportunities but as I'm on my foundation year they are more aimed for higher years or through the summer
