The facilities and the update which we get from the uni regarding the classes or anything is always there through emails. The lecturers are very easy to understand and they are supportive in any difficulties the student might face.
I genuinely think my university is one of the best in the UK, they provide a huge range of academic support, mental health support and all kinds of other things. the facilities alongside my course are absolutely incredible and it has been an absolute pleasure studying here for the last year. The only area I think my university could improve is in the diversity of LGBT+ students in positions such as student reps. The person who got voted as leader of the student council has said some violently homophobic and sexist things online over the last few years, and appears to stand by these beliefs which is such a let down for students. But the racial diversity and support for students from every background is wonderful.
As I went through most of my time at the university during covid lockdowns the majority of lectures were all online with little to no support from lecturers outside of them, the online lectures themselves were very bad quality as well. The accommodation team is incompetent as I was not allocated a room until after I had started university so ended up paying extra to stay in private halls. Most of the accounting course seemed outdated with most of the teaching being on older content. Only 2 of the 6 lecturers on my course actually attempted to help me with content I did not understand. It’s not worth the student debt.
I study at Kingston School of Art, part of Kingston University and the location is really good as it is very close to London so there is always places to go and visit which can be helpful for studying. The teachers are great and always happy to sit down an help you on the course if there is something which you don't understand or you want to improve on. I would say that my first year experience has been like doing an Art Foundation all over again but my foundation course felt more fast paced and I did feel like I learnt a lot more then I have in first year, so I am looking forward to progressing to second year with more structured briefs and projects.

I love the university and all the facilities it provides for students with low income and all the additional bursaries that are available to those who need. The location is perfect one thing that is a con is that it is quite hard to find halal food near. I would like the timetable to be fixed and maybe fit the classes in less days then all five days of the week as some days I'm only in university for 1 hour and no more classes. So it would be better to get more classes done in one day than all over the week. The student union is very supportive and one thing I love is the islamic society on campus, the was the are holding free iftar every weekday in Ramadan is very thoughtful and helpful for students who are living alone.

Best part about KU is u get to know ppl from different countries with different cultures, friendly and supportive professors. But don’t feel safe around the campus the security isn’t that gd. KU should improve by giving extra security at the entrance.

Its a great place to study because of the facilities the university provides but mainly its the staff that have made my experience better at university. For improvements I would say having a place where students can come together and discuses issues rather than sending individual emails.

The campuses could be more accessible, there is only one gender-neutral bathroo, and in the new library, there are none. There are also no quiet spaces for students with anxiety, autism or other disabilities who would benefit from them. The only on-campus spaces that have this must be booked out ahead of time. The campus its self is rather busy and hectic so its not ideal.
The library is a very nice place to study
Kingston University is a great place to study as the facilities and support by some staff members are excellent. The way things are layed out allows students to learn and understand better. However, sometimes teachers do not give the effort to help you further, for example, if you have a dissertation they'd talk about something else or advise you on something which is not clear or realistic.
The best aspect of the University is the 5 floored library with a roof garden. The worst aspect is the old and out-of-date main building.
