Great university
I have found that the facilities are lacking. They do not have a 3d printer here which has hindered my project. There is not many student bars except student union which is a shame. The campus has some nice studios, but the exterior is quite old and unattractive.
the environment
Its cool
I like studying here
The workshop is the best part to me as I am able to learn so many more techniques
The worse aspect of my uni experience is the student union / student bar on Kingston hill campus. Also some of the staff could get to know students more for example my tutor knowing who I am when going to see her. When In halls being left without heating and hot water a majority of the time. The best aspect is meeting new people on my course and in halls. The staff on the course being very friendly and supportive.
There’s facilities to sit and do essays whether it’s with friends or on your own in the quiet area. Lots of green space in Kingston Hill campus- helped whilst I was living here. Some lectures can be improved by making them more interesting and enthusiastic
Good- All the campuses are nice and new and have lots of new things being installed. Bad- Better communication with student would be helpful.
I feel that the union could be improved in addition to the support students get after assignment grades have been given. However the university is always clean and tidy.
The lectures are interesting and helps to improve our knowledge on the modules we are learning. The teachers are also always happy to help. What I do find hard is when we are given assignments to do while on placement because it is very hard to manage them both.
there is plenty of support for students from all genders and backgrounds which is amazing. It’s very LGBTQ+ and BIPOC supportive and inclusive which I found beautiful!! Wish there was more healthy food options in the cafe and canteen :)
Very supportive in all aspects ranging from education to personal life.
The best part about my uni experience is that I get to meet people from all around the world and learn about them and their culture and teaching them about mine also people are really friendly in this university where you can easily make new friends The worst thing is that there are a lot of men or boys here and a girl sometimes is not comfortable with the staring when boys stare at us no matter what we are wearing. Also the worst thing is that there is a lot of work and assignments and quiz
It’s really nice place and everyone is super supportive but I’m expecting more clear information when it comes to assignments.
The best is that I’m getting my degree The worst is that I don’t feel the uni spirit as the university doesn’t reach out for fun activities?
I like that the support system in very helpful when need be I like that that really help you with any issues you might have regardless of whether they are school or home related
Worst - lack of support, lack of organisation from the lecturers and lack communication from the nursing placement team. Time table is overwhelming for nursing students Best - campus building is nice

I would say the university could do more to encourage inter-course collaboration that would do a lot for a sense of wider connection to the uni
I think the quality of my course was severely impacted by covid, remote working doesn’t allow students to use the facilities they’re paying for.
