I'm from Mexico and I was very stressed at first but the lecturers helped me with the questions I had about the assignments, the International Office reached out and invited me to different events and I quickly found myself feeling at home in Aberystwyth. I particularly enjoy the 24/7 library. I also enjoy being able to walk home after a lecture and not feel threatened since it's a very safe town.

My university experience has been amazing so far as I have met people who are both very similar to me and some who are completely different. I'm learning a lot about a different culture living in Wales as there are many things I didn't know before I moved here from London. Honestly though I couldn't have asked for a better university as I wanted something completely different from where I did live and being in the middle of Wales is all I could've asked for
