The fact it’s a whole university dedicated to one field of study

Some lessons go on for too long for someone like myself with a small attention span

A large amount of the demographics are similar people

I like the structure of the building but feel like I am on my own when it comes to finding the right person for help either for myself or my flat

Some of the lecturers are very supportive. However, on the other hand, you often have to ask for honest criticism directly several times before you'll get a honest feedback. It is great when you get praise. But I get the feeling that sometimes lecturers are afraid of hurting students' feelings. Which is... Fine, to the some extent. Still, it is very different from the way teaching is done in my country. When it comes to campuses and facilities, it's hard for me to compare either, because most universities in my home country are literally falling apart. However, there is always something to look forward to. There is always space for an improvement. Perhaps, would be grear if there finally was a good ventilation system in the smaller Duke Street theatre.

I accidentally wrote about this in a previous column, but I'll say it again. Criticism has to be begged for, I feel like teachers lack freedom of speech. And I would like to see more life drawing classes in the timetable(including trips to the city to draw architecture). And more exhibition space for Games Art and Design! Last year the exhibition was severely limited. A bunch of work tried to be displayed in a small room. How is it, the biggest course in the university and the smallest room for an alumni exhibition? And generally any exhibition we have.
