The campus is huge, with many different places to study all with different vibes. I love that there are coffee shops and shops. However there could be a more affordable grocery shop other than the co-op on campus.

More seminars less lectures, longer lectures.

The room was fabulous but the people were not, i was put in a flat with all international students, me being the only English speaking student. This is a housing committee problem, there should be more consideration when housing students.

Brighton is a lovely place to live and there is a lot going on for students! Living on campus is very expensive and the most affordable accommodation is being replaced at the minute:( but I think this will probably be the same at most unis. Most of my lecturers are kind and helpful.

Most of the lecturers are kind and go above and beyond to help you where they can. The contact hours for the language vs. Sociology is a bit disproportionate (3 hours of Spanish a week compared to about 6 of sociology, which should be about 9). Teach critical reading and writing well in 1st year which sets you up for the rest of the time.

Really close to northfield bar which is a bonus! But was closed in lockdown when I was there:( however it is the same price as east slope, which has access to private study rooms and other study spaces, and has double beds which seems unfair. Also a fair walk from main campus, but is modern and nice enough. Enjoyed my time there.
