I have Bipolar disorder and have had so much support from my School (English). This has kept me moving forward with my degree. The staff are all fantastic. The Mental Health Support team have been wonderful, I am fortunate to have been assigned a mentor to help me in times of stress. The Miles Dyslexia Centre have been a Godsend, I finally learnt why I read so slow and have difficulty processing information. They have helped with strategies to make my academic experience easier for me.

Student Union is first class. They are very approachable and really take problems on board and endeavour to solve them. There are many activities arranged for students to attend.

Bangor offers a wide range of courses. My own course gives me scope to choose modules I enjoy and if I wanted to I could take one module each year with another school.

I don't live on Campus as I am a local student but all my peers have nothing but praise for the Halls.

Teachers , campus,loocation and student life is amazing here. In addition such amazing library along with historic collections make it an intresting place to study. I amazed by the university's mental health support and services that they give to student out of an cost. It can be improved by allowing the spouse of a student to stay in a university accomadation. As for new students it gets highly difficult to look for the private accomodation in Bangor. And it is something beyond the understanding that how university gets agree to give spouse visa but not gets responsibel to give accomodation to a spouse of a student as well and dont think of the fact that how they are going to pay for the double rents while staying at two different accomodation.

I love my course and I can see a good future to pursue in it. Teachers are good and are responsible to conduct the information related to the course/module/assesment. I am disappointed by the criteria of marking in my course. Only one of the student out of fourty student got seventy percent marks and below that most of the students fell in the sixty percent category with C grade . And this criteria is same for all the modules. It would be much better if the university decided to work on the criteria of marking. Because this criteria of marking and gardes leads to the lack of confidence and stress in students.

University accommodation is good to have a shelter. But it is way too costly for students as students are only allowed to work for limited hours in the UK it gets extremely dificult for students to manage all the expenese.
