The best aspects have to be some of the lecturers that I have encountered who are genuinely passionate about helping students. The campus is very beautiful and a lovely space to be around. The library spaces are nice and motivating. However, the University could have been more helpful in dealing with COVID and the war in Ukraine (I am a student of Russian language). There is no safety net or extra support in place despite the fact that I was unable to travel abroad for a key element of my degree.

The modules are mostly interesting and as a languages student I have a lot of contact hours in person.

The rooms were decently sized and quite modern. The maintenance staff were quick and attentive if there were any issues too. However, the location is quite far from campus (there is a free bus to take you there, though) and it made me feel less part of the action during first year.

There's a large range of libraries and study spaces. There are ample places are laptops or computers.

All taught in-person which is good. Too much emphasis on the text book which can be quite boring. Good amount of contact hours and lecturers are always willing to help during office hours.

Good sized room, with nice bathroom. Some of the doors didn't close properly so anyone could walk into a block. The food was OK but I was fed meat/ fish twice and I'm a vegetarian.
