Improvements: - More student study spaces. - More access to open university computers. Computers are always taken up unless you arrive early in the morning and much later in the evening. - There’s plenty of wasted/free space in Pontio to add additional seating and computers. - No decent parking anywhere in town or in the university that you can park all day. Places allow up to 3 hours. But not any use when you have lectures for 4 hours +

- amazing lecture and teacher support. I am always so impressed with the endless offers for help. - I feel like you get to personally know a lot of the lectures. Many of them know you by name, and will say hello to you on campus as you go by. It’s provides a great safe community feel. It also makes you feel respected, which goes a long way.

- absolutely awful parking situation at Saint Mary’s halls. Security and staff members cannot seem to manage students parking in stupid places, E.G on double yellows, which massively inconveniences others. This combined with the lack of enforcement or consequences creates an environment where the car park is a free for all to park where ever you can fit your vehicle. As there is no repercussions, people will continue to do it. Some of the only prevention methods in place for parking on double yellows is a few orange cones. Of course, these are just regularly moved by students so they can park there. - there is an overflow car park across the road for Saint Mary’s halls, this needs to be made clearer and advertised better. I wasn’t aware of it for the majority of my time in halls. Regardless, this car park doesn’t have any CCTV facing it. So for many who would like extra protection and security for their vehicles it’s another reason not to park there. - I have stayed in halls for two years, both times, I have experienced the exact same cleanliness issues upon arriving. This was despite making a full and detailed complaint the first time it happened. I have since made another complaint and made this point again. Hopefully things will change next year, however, I am not hopeful. - on a more positive note, the majority of security and staff members are kind, helpful and understanding of any issues you bring up. Some staff members in particular have gone above and beyond when issues have arisen in halls.
