Best part is probably the look of the uni. Student life, there isnt that much to do in town as everything is closing BUT if you live in student halls, campus life is amazing. You get a calendar for each semester with different free events including free food, entertainment, trips etc. Very good way to make friends without spending money. Id say one thing that could improve is student support. Yes there is a student wellbeing team but it is very hard to get through to them and get any support if needed. Furthermore, the finance team can be really hard to deal with and the 4 years thats ive been here ive had problems with them every year. Especially if you are from abroad or even not from the main island. Because im from Northern Ireland it seems I always have issues with finance and the uni isnt a great help with it.

Good thing is that tutors are available very fast and are always willing to do the best to support you. When ive had issues they have been able to reply to me within 24 hours and work on the issues with me. However, a downside is the actual lectures which sometimes are held in both English and Welsh and while I see why they do it, I think it would be better to just have Welsh in the slides. How they did it a couple times was explain everything in Welsh first and it would be very ling and people who dont understand get bored. Then they would translate to English but it would always be much shorter and less informed or thats what it seemed like anyway.

Very cheap compared to other unis and you get quite a spacious ensuite room with shared kitchen. The accommodation itself is only about a 10-15min walk from the uni as well as Morssions so dont have to walk far. There's also a bar/restaurant (Bar Uno) on the site and a laundrette. If you have maintenance issues it usually get solved within a week depending on the urgency and if you have complaints or safety issues you just need to ring security and the team responds very fast

I like very much the teacher's approach to each student and the way they treat students.

Education studies is an interesting topic and it helps to improve our teaching skills
