The best aspect is the student support. I feel that there is so many people in the university that I can contact if anything happens. The worst would be the high prices of the residence fee.

I really like how practical they modules can be. The worst aspect would be some course hours.

The best part us that there are a lot of activities and facilities available for the students. The worst part is that it is too expensive.

Lots of resources online such as the online library as well as one in real life to visit at any time. The city itself hasn't got much going on which is probably the worst aspect but it's definitely still lively for a night out and has its perks as everything is so close together. Nearby is hundreds of amazing landscapes that make for a good hike; if you're an outdoor person this is the place for you. There's also hundreds of clubs that are very welcoming and easy to sign up for and of course the nightlife is full of pubs and a great club that you'll see everyone at from Wednesday to Saturday. There's so many courses that go from really specific to much broader so there's something for everyone and on my course at least there's a good mix of written work and course work.

As it is such a broad course there are always going to be aspects that you like and don't like. I very much enjoy the hands-on aspect like when we make our own podcasts and film things however, I don't like a couple of modules that seem repetitive such as learning about the importance of the creative arts where each lecture feels very random and unrelated to the last. Film history I found a bit boring at first, however, it was interesting at times and I definitely learnt new things that I'd class as fun facts on the origins of cinema.

Big rooms, nice shower, very clean. Access to microwaves, kettles, vacuums, brooms and more.Nearby is a small shop as well for any bits and bobs you might have forgotten at the shop as well as a smaller gym which is convenient for when you don't want to travel to the big one or would prefer a quieter environment.It is classed as the 'quiet' accommodation, however, everyone I've spoken to has been extremely friendly and a big handful are now some of my best friends. Most of us chose this accommodation not because of it being quieter but because of the quality seeming much better than the other accommodation. Another pro is a small study space and easy access to the washer's as well as maintenance acting fast and within a day or two whenever something is reported. Some downsides include how far away it feels from the rest of the university, although it is a very walkable city all of the clubs/sports and volunteering opportunities are at the other accommodation as well as them having a bar that has darts and pool and karaoke making it a long walk back after a visit. Everyone complains about the size of the hill to get up to the accommodation as well but that's just something you have to get over I think. it is an expensive accommodation but you definitely get your moneys worth and can switch accommodation at any point.
