Bangor University

Lots of resources online such as the online library as well as one in real life to visit at any time. The city itself hasn't got much going on which is probably the worst aspect but it's definitely still lively for a night out and has its perks as everything is so close together. Nearby is hundreds of amazing landscapes that make for a good hike; if you're an outdoor person this is the place for you. There's also hundreds of clubs that are very welcoming and easy to sign up for and of course the nightlife is full of pubs and a great club that you'll see everyone at from Wednesday to Saturday. There's so many courses that go from really specific to much broader so there's something for everyone and on my course at least there's a good mix of written work and course work.

My only issue with the uni so far has been that awful hill you have to walk up to get to Main Arts! Other than that, the facilities are great, staff are supportive and overall feels very welcoming

Best aspect is my degree, faculty and the location. Worst is a very strong word hence I would say the area that needs improvement would be student life in terms of events which involve the whole student body irrespective of their degree and year so that there is a sense of community within the university. Right now I barely know any students other than my classmates

I've had a great experience, I've learned a lot and developed as a person, particularly through involvement with various societies and clubs, which have also helped me to make plenty of friends who I wouldn't have met otherwise.

Bangor University has taught me a lot and given me the chance to meet new people, learning with them has been amazing and although there is room for improving, overall the university does a great job.
