Bangor is a lovely uni in a truly lovely part of Wales. I've really enjoyed my course! If you are hoping for a vibrant nightlife you won't find it here, however if you enjoy nature there's truly no shortage. The lecturers are decent but what truly makes it is finding friends especially in your lectures, I've found them to be properly the greatest part as they have been there for me through the ups and downs of uni.

As I've done a fair bit of my course in welsh those lectures/seminars have been small and we've been able to get help. If you want help lecturers are only an email away, even with larger groups they will try their best to support them. The most contact I've had with my tutor has been over email which has suited me.

I managed to get a room with two windows which is nice. Make sure to bring decorations otherwise it won't feel like home at all. When we've had issues with the kitchen they've been quick to respond and to fix them. There is also an app so you can get a feel for your future flatmates before you move in, which is nice. WiFi is decent and you can bring gaming consoles just note they need to be connected through resnet not eduroam, which is easy enough to set up.

The school and supervisory support for the student is outstanding. The student's study areas provide all necessary equipment and comfort. The university provides and intimate feel whilst retaining an international reputation for research and support. The university location is between sea and mountains - need I say more? How to improve? It's just right at this juncture.

The research programme provides a balanced mix of on-line and face-to-face contact as required.
