The overall look and feel of the campus is very inviting, it is small but has nice buildings and lots of cool places to work on assignments. The international students office does a lot of fun events that make being in a new country less daunting and allow you to share your culture as well as experience the culture of other international students. The small size and somewhat shared interests (art) of the student body means that there are niche societies that can open you up to new things.

The illustration course is a bit big for the number of professors which makes it a bit hard to get the opportunity for in depth feedback. It also makes getting to know the professors and building a relationship with them slightly difficult, at least as a first year. The course content is interesting, however I would prefer if it had more classes that were specific to teaching technical skills, as well as the history/current events of the illustration industry, built into the schedule rather than mostly just workshops. More assessments would also be nice as it would prompt more frequent critiques. I appreciate how the professors give lessons and have us respond to the material as it is being taught. They also give weekly opportunities to hear from practicing illustrators in different fields which has been incredibly valuable in opening my eyes to the different paths illustrators can go down.

You get a very fine sized room and private bathroom as well as a pretty large shared kitchen with all basic necessities. The location is the best part though as it is a very short walk from town center, grocery stores and the train/bus station.
