Creative communities, less full on approach to Textiles, 2 projects back to back with an hour break is ridiculous

Too much work, students don’t have enough time to relax, not a great deal of tutor contact time, more work left to technical staff

Loved it so much!! So fun, such a down to earth and party vibe. Good community feel

The facilities are clean and most of what you need is on campus and not too spread out so you can easily walk around the campus. Staff are generally in their office which are with the studios so you can knock and have a chat with them if needed. The technicians are usually running about doing stuff so it's sometimes hard to grab hold of them. The biggest complaint is the lack of free/cheap materials. There is paint lab and sculpture and some things in each you can use (eg, a drill to hand work on the wall.) but when it comes to actually making work you have to fund that fully yourself. There's a small supplies store on campus but they don't have quality paint or many materials besides sketchbooks and stationary stuff.

There's usually one day a week where you'll have scheduled lecture or meeting/tutorial. And then there will be sign up stuff that are optional and the studios are open all day in the week and i believe a few hours on Saturdays so you can go in and work pretty much when you want. You can easily email tutors to have a one to one session or if you need advice. There are a fair few crits, usually one a term that is a progress crit and one that may be assessed, depending on the unit. Anything you do have is generally in person, not online. Artist talks are generally once a week as well.

its a lot of money, definitely overpriced but so are most student accommodations. The safety was okay, the front door into the building that meant you were required to have a scanner thing in order to get in was mostly broken meaning it didn't really stop people from coming in. The lifts broke frequently. But the gym, laundry, study room and cinema room were kept clean
