Love my time here so far, really interesting place to be - you can tell lecturers are passionate about their subjects! Only improvement I can think of is the location, as it is a bus journey away from the town centre but even this is not a huge issue as buses are really frequent. The thing to bear in mind is that it is quite a small uni, so there’s not always the same amount of stuff going on on campus as other bigger unis, but especially for more introverted students (which is common in art!) it’s an ideal balance.

The course is perfect for me - the first year is all about trying a bit of everything, so it helps with finding out what you like to do! There is a good amount of lectures, with optional additional tutorials available every week in term time. Most lessons are in person, which I find better as it means I can concentrate more :) I can’t think of any bad things about the course so far!

Bournemouth is an interesting place to live, with lots to do, for people with lots of different interests. I love having the beach so nearby and the bus routes around the town and beyond are really good. The accommodation can be a bit expensive but there are different options for different budgets. AUB is nearer to Poole than Bournemouth, but even so, it is easy to get to all 3 locations.

Great accommodation overall, I love my en-suite bedroom :) There are a few issues with maintenance though, as they are slow to respond to (and fix) issues that can be urgent! The security of the building overall is not great, but there are locks on multiple doors to get to each flat so this makes it a bit safer personally. It is in a good location for shops and restaurants, and near to the beach :)
