Cultivating Career-Ready SkillsWe offer opportunities to develop practical, employable and transferrable skills to prepare you for a range of future careers. You'll gain an in-depth and up-to-date understanding of industry routes including how to get your screenplay produced, how to get an agent, and how to market your work. We explore the skills that employers are looking for and all the different ways you can make a living as a writer. When you graduate, you'll have a strong creative portfolio, and a professional network to kickstart your career. Between your second and third year of study, you have the option of taking a Professional Placement Year. You take charge of securing your own placement, with guidance from your course team. Once you're here and studying with us, the course team will discuss the placement options with you, so when the time comes, you can make a decision that's right for you.
