One of the best aspects of studying at Exeter University is that the lecturers are all leading experts in their fields - it's really interesting to hear about their research and how it links so directly to the things we are studying. The location is also stunning, Penryn Campus is beautiful and Cornwall is (in my opinion) one the best places to study, particularly for a Bioscience course. The location also has its downsides and one of the worst things about studying here is that lots of places in the county are inaccessible if you don't have a car so opportunities for exploring are a little limited.

The facilities on campus are fantastic - the labs are very well equipped and are ideal for developing relevant skills, the campus also has plenty of natural areas so you don't need to go far for data collection on research projects. The course content doesn't always suit everyone - the actual substance of the courses is very interesting and I found it really held my interest; however, the delivery might not be ideal for everyone as there is a mix of online pre-recorded lectures and in-person sessions depending on the module. Additionally, some modules are a little overwhelming in terms of volume of work but this does become easier as you progress through your degree.

Glasney Village is located on Penryn Campus and this makes it very easy for getting to and from classes, as well as getting to know the campus. The team in Glasney Lodge are also very helpful - the security is fast and effective and they are often efficient with addressing maintenance issues. When I first moved into Glasney, I wasn't entirely happy in my flat - I had requested a quiet flat and my flatmates weren't as quiet as I thought might be the case (although they were lovely people and my stress was largely due to my own anxieties with starting uni). However, when I contacted the accommodation team, they were very helpful and I was quickly in a new flat where I was much happier.

Great teaching, beautiful campus, uni staff are really friendly and helpful and the accommodation varies but you get what you pay for so there's cheap rooms if that's what you want and really nice rooms too. The city is beautiful and has everything you need. I love it!

There's recently been a new development built called the forum which has a great library, study spaces, food outlets, technology labs and loads of other things, so the facilities are really good, the only reason it's not a five star is because the library is so popular it's nearly impossible to get a computer after 9 am

The student support at exeter is really great, the residence life team are there to help with any problems at all really. They focus on accommodation issues and homesickness but you can go to them with any problem and if they can't help they'll find somone who can. Students can also easily get counselling if they need it and are assigned personal tutors who they have throughout their years of study who can help with any academic issues. There is also a Health Centre on campus with lovely doctors and nurses who can help with any health issues and the campus services team patrol 24/7 and can help with issues such as lost phones and wallets, violence and they will even drive you home if you get hurt on a night out

Pretty good, the student bar is a really nice place to go for a drink and the curly fries are to die for. The bar does 'Rameoke', quizzes and loads of other stuff but the other guild events aren't that well advertised in my opinion

I'm not too keen on clubbing so for me the city life is perfect. There are beautiful places to eat both indoors and out, plenty of shops and loads of historical buildings. For those who do like to go out on the town however, there are very few clubs an most of them are pretty poor. There are plenty of pubs to choose from however, some with lively atmospheres and live music and others which are smaller and less crowded for those who just fancy a quiet drink

Exeter boasts numerous clubs and societies and all of the ones I know of are really well run. They of course have their costs but most of these are reasonable and there really is a club or society for everyone, with hide and seek society, Harry Potter society, sub aqua club and surf club as well as many of the more common ones

Mine have been fantastic! I study archaeology and the department is really small but I like that, it means we really get to know our lecturers and they know us. My lectures are really interesting and useful, and I love my subject.

They're supposed to be really good and the uni runs workshops to improve your employability.

The accommodation varies depending on what you ask for and what you pay. There is a huge range with ensuites, shared bathrooms, catered, self catered, single rooms and some shared rooms, there are even studios do there's something for everyone. My accommodation is amazing - ensuite, catered, huge room, double bed and a fridge in the room
