Exeter is a prestigious university set in a lovely location and offers a lot for students who may just be visiting the South West for the first time. As I'm only a second-year student on a 3-year programme, I can't give a whole opinion but as of yet, I have found the university enjoyable given the circumstances (COVID-19) and I feel I have received a lot of support in different ways. It's worth checking out the sports and societies before to see what you'd like to join, it definitely helps make your university experience and allows you to meet new people.

Large lecture halls and theatres, green surroundings, always clean, and has lots of sports clubs and different societies.

I'm disabled so I talk to the disability team a lot at the University. If you need any help, they are easy to contact and set up a meeting, and they go out of their way to help you with course work, financial issues, and anything inbetween.

Due to COVID-19, most classes have been remote but we have also had blended learning. Lecturers are usually friendly to talk to but it is sometimes quite hard to contact them when you have a question. Assessment feedback could be improved.

There are career service activities, and online career support, however, having more internal student internships would be appreciated. If you want to meet guest speakers, you'd be better joining a particular society.

Best aspects: the campus is incredible and has lots of outdoor space. Worst aspects: not enough study spaces on campus - during busy parts of terms it is difficult to find anywhere on campus that is free.

My course is taught face-to-face which I love. The contact hours are great. The workload was intense in first year but you get enough support to cope with it and lots of additional support outside of lectures and seminars is available. The scope and variety of topics that I can choose from has allowed me to create a degree I am fully invested in and proud of and has allowed me to develop and enhance many skills and interests.

East Park is amazing! I lived in a shared bathroom flat and honestly was not a problem at any time. The kitchen and living space was amazing and there are great study spaces within the accommodation. Any issues I had with my room or the halls in general was able to reported on an app and maintenance came to fix the issue quickly. The pricing for these halls have gone up which is something to be aware of but it is definitely a great value for money.
