Exeter is the perfect university city. The first-year accommodation is spacious and modern, and the teaching is great.

The facilities for politics are pretty standard for a humanities course at a relatively modern university. The teaching is of very good quality, both in terms of lecturers and seminar leaders. The course itself is interesting and there are a wide range of diverse optional modules to choose from.

Lafrowda is spacious and a perfect university hall. In particular, its location is excellent. The wifi can be slow at times, and the fire alarm sounds a little too often for my liking, but bar that it's a great place to live as a fresh. The staff who run the buildings are always fast at solving problems (usually broken lifts).

Beautiful campus and location. However, societies and events can be expensive so can be tricky to socialise if you can’t afford it.

Lectures are mostly engaging. Teaching staff are interested and responsive to student feedback. Limited tutor contact time.

Location is right on campus so takes only 5 minutes to walk to lectures. However, nearest supermarket is 20-30 minute walk away with hills. All rooms are en-suites, however management is extremely poor. Laundry facilities are expensive and always dirty - impossible to get laundry clean. Our flat also went entirely without heating for 4 months over the winter (when bills were included in rent), rooms had unaddressed mould issues and we had water seeping through the walls of the kitchen from the flats above, destroying the food in peoples cupboards along with flooring and leaving the kitchen damp and dirty for the remainder of the year.
