My overall experience at the University of the West of England has been very positive. The best aspect of studying here is the supportive environment, especially for international students. The lecturers are helpful and approachable, and the teaching style is practical, which makes learning more engaging. The campus facilities, including the library and study spaces, are modern and well-equipped.
Overall, my experience at UWE Bristol has been very positive. The facilities, especially on Frenchay Campus, are modern and well-equipped, with great libraries, study spaces, and labs that really support learning. The location is also a big advantage, as Bristol is a vibrant and student-friendly city with plenty to do both on and off campus. Student support services have been helpful, particularly with academic guidance and wellbeing resources. The campus has a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, and the environment makes it easy to focus on studies while also enjoying student life. There are many societies, events, and activities available through the students’ union, which helps students stay engaged and meet new people. If I had to suggest improvements, it would be to improve communication in some areas and expand career support, such as more internships and networking opportunities. Overall, UWE Bristol offers a great balance between academic support and student experience, and I would recommend it to others.
City campus is a great location to study and most places are close by. Maybe provided portfolios and higher printing allowance.
The staff are all so nice and extremely helpful. If they can’t help you with something they’ll directly you to someone or resources that can. The engineering building is well equipped and the courses have a more practical approach to learning that really helps consolidate the theoretical aspects of your course and show you practically how it applies to the real world.
nothing
I love the student union, so many activities for you to do during the free time and the worst part for me is the travel as it takes a while for me to commute to uni, its something that cannot be improved but its the worst thing for me
The support that they offer especially to international students.
It is a great place to study because it provides a supportive and welcoming environment for students. The teachers are knowledgeable and approachable, which makes it easier to ask questions and understand difficult topics. There are good learning facilities such as libraries, quiet study areas, and access to online resources that help with independent learning. The opportunity to work with others and be part of a diverse community also makes studying more engaging and enjoyable.

My experience so far has been excellent. The university offers modern facilities that create a perfect environment for focused study. The best part is definitely the supportive academic staff, who are always approachable and provide great guidance. Additionally, the vibrant community and Students' Union make campus life very engaging. I am very happy with my choice!

It is a good place to study because it has helpful lecturers, useful facilities like the library, and a supportive learning environment. Students can also work together, which makes learning easier. It could be improved by offering more flexible study options and improving access to support services. Better organisation of courses would also make studying easier.
I am studying BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science at UWE Bristol as an international student. Overall, my experience has been positive. The labs and library are well-equipped, making it easy to study and do practical work. The campus feels welcoming, with nice green areas and easy access between buildings. Staff and student support are helpful when I need advice or guidance. The best part of my experience has been the practical sessions, which really help me understand what I learn in lectures. I also enjoy meeting people from different countries and cultures—it makes studying here more interesting. One area that could improve is communication and administration, as sometimes processes are slow. There could also be more social events on campus to help students connect. Despite these small issues, UWE Bristol is a great place to study, with strong facilities, good support, and a friendly environment for all students.
Environment and lecturers are very friendly, easy to understand and supportive . Technology provided is very easy to access Worst aspects are we have to wait 2 hours for our next lecture
The library at UWE Bristol Glenside Campus is a welcoming and well-equipped study space. It offers a good mix of quiet study areas, group rooms, and useful facilities like computers, printers, and even loanable laptops. The environment is generally calm and supportive, making it a great place to focus, while helpful staff and study resources add to the overall positive experience.
The student support could be better, in my experience when I say 'the student support could be better', I don't mean disability help or suicide prevention; I mean helping the students with problems involving classes and with the teachers. The Students union is alright; it would be nice if the bar was open till later hours because that's when everyone goes out at night, and an on-campus pub past 10pm would be great! there's just not enough student activities happening; every time I see some event there, it's gone the next day, there isn't even a known feed on what's happening any day; I just head to classes, and I notice a lot of people are at the students' union, and I can't go until classes are over.
University of the West of England Glenside Campus is a great place to study because it offers realistic clinical simulation facilities, a supportive learning environment, and a peaceful setting that helps students focus. However, it could be improved by providing more social activities, better transport links, and a wider range of on-campus food and facilities.
One of the best things about University of the West of England is how focused it is on getting you ready for an actual job. A lot of courses include placements or practical projects, so it doesn’t feel like you’re just learning theory for the sake of it. The campus (especially Frenchay) is really nice as well — modern buildings, loads of study spaces, and decent facilities. It’s pretty easy to find somewhere to work or just chill between lectures. Also, being in Bristol is a big win. There’s always something going on, whether it’s nightlife, food, or events, and it’s a good city for part-time jobs too. However, it’s not perfect. Organisation can be a bit all over the place sometimes — like timetable changes last minute or slow feedback on assignments, which gets frustrating. It can also depend a lot on your course or lecturers. Some modules are really good, others not so much, so it feels a bit inconsistent. And yeah, Bristol is expensive. Rent and general living costs can add up pretty quickly, which is something to be aware of.

the location of the university is very good in my opinion. vey scenic and very modern feel to the campus. the lecturers also explain modules well. it could be improved if there were more mails regarding important updates regarding the course as some assignments can go easily unnoticed.
more past paper questions would be appreciated, lecture quality is great.
