Good uni
Not enough courses in person
Activities
Lot of spacieux for studying
Great teachers
Lot of busses
Great community, location and staff but could be improved with more in person lectures.
Extremely interesting course with nice people but not many in person lectures.
Amazing community and staff
Lectures are online which isn’t ideal but seminars are in person
I love the city and the Uni. A great place to be.
They've done a good job of online learning.
It’s fun
Teaching could be better
I love the facilities provided by the University and the campus has a real sense of community. However, how the University dealt with the COVID-19 pandemic in terms of funding was poor. I do not agree with giving prospective students £10,000 just to defer a year because courses were over subscribed and yet no compensation was given to existing students who’s studies suffered due to online learning, strikes and little support.
I have a passion for my course, however, each semester things seem very unorganised and things are constantly changing. This is confusing for students trying to stay on track and get the best grades they can.
Best - lots of libraries and plenty of cafes on campus, as well as lots of food options in the student union Worst - feel there’s been a lack of support especially during first year during covid, and was extremely slow on coming back face to face compared to other unis
Best - glad that everything is back on campus for my course, but not the same for others doing straight literature Worst - have missed crucial content because of the strikes
Schools of food science is the best
They should inform about ever single graduate scheme
Too expensive
