I like Leeds as I have found it to be really safe around the accommodation and throughout the city and the university as it is always a well lit area. I like studying in Leeds as my course offers a good amount of in person and pre recorded lectures allowing me to be flexible with my schedule. I wish there were more on Campus accommodations for lower prices which aren’t shared houses.

My course is heavily based on blended learning. This means that it allows me to be flexible with my studies as I can decide when to do my prerecorded lectures. Still, this is balanced with a good amount of in person lectures which aren’t compulsory. This type of lectures are often recorded. There’s also compulsory lessons such as labs and group work, which I find it to be good as it motivates me to show up.

I like how reasonably close is to the university and how big the rooms are. However I find it to be way more expensive than what it should be for what it offers. There’s only four washing machines and four dryers to share between all the students in the accommodation which is very inconvenient. Moreover, there’s so many broken things all the time. And I genuinely feel like I’m paying more than I should as ten minutes away from this accommodation there’s another one which offers room cleaners, individual freezer and fridge for each student, gym inside the hall and bigger common room for the same price.
