It has got a great ranking . The professors could be much more educated and know how to teach students
Brilliant uni and the campus is in a great location
Leeds University is such a friendly place to study, it's welcoming and it is very inclusive
great location, friendly atmosphere, lecturers are clearly well developed in their fields and very approachable, great library spaces, union has everything necessary some of the accommodations could be improved, better residence life assistants, too many assignments with one another and disorganisation in some areas
The University has a welcoming and safe feel. The libraries are open and always clean and warm, a great place to get your head down and study when you need to or if you just want a quiet place to go. The campus is within great walking distance of the city with plenty of shops. There is plenty of student support and websites to support you when struggling or if you need a simple question answering. Sometimes the uni can seem really busy with how large it is as well and can feel a little overwhelming but once you have settled down this will reduce.
Campus has lovely building, plenty of things to do in the union, lots of rabbits around. Could have more welcome events at the start of term
The city is a great place to study with lots to do and see. The downside to this is that there are so many people and things to do that you rarely see most people and can't do everything. The University of Leeds could be improved by having one place to make all events known about because there are too many emails about events that aren't on the union's event page.
Leeds is a great city and there are lots of students, the University offers lots of courses. I would like more student support and impact on the courses

Best part of my uni experience in Leeds University so far is definitely the balance between 'play' and 'work', where I think the students here are the best at following the motto, "Work Hard, Play Hard". The club life here is very promising along with the people are very friendly and you'll always find someone new to talk to with every opportunity. While the worst thing so far would be the accommodations. Now, there are amazing ones, just as there are horrible ones. It's always a hit or miss really. I think the accommodations provided by the University of Leeds (along with the ones they have a partnership with) are great options with great location and facilities, but that means they are not always affordable (wasn't in my budget for sure!). It's something Id definitely want the uni to look into and consider lowering rent prices.
best- good location, aesthetically pleasing, lots of activities to do e.g. different fairs, societies etc. Lots of deals for students worst- not always a lot of support for those doing more intense courses such as healthcare
The best thing is the different spaces to study, however the area outside the union could use a little redecorating.
The University is in a great location in terms of accessing the city centre and the student area Headingley. There is always so much on and so much to do and it has one of the best student unions by far. Location, things to do (whether you like to go out or not so much) Leeds has got loads of things on so it's a great city for students.
Leeds is such a diverse city with great culture and vibrant nightlife. There are so many things to do here, and plenty of restaurants/bars/shops etc to explore. I love my university as I believe it's in such a good location, being nearby to the city centre (walking distance) but also having Hyde Park student area which has a student village feel to it. The uni has great facilities (especially in my Faculty which is Science), the tutors show an effort and interest in individuals and the Union always has lots on. They could improve on advertising wellbeing and making it more accessible, however apart from that I can't think of many negatives
Best - Location, Student Union, Activities Worst - Lack of lessons and contact time with tutors
the campus is really nice and the libraries are a great place to study, feel like you cannot always go to professors for help with assessments, some modules are online still
Lots of facilities Teaching not always the best quality, lacking more face to face content, often using old recycled powerpoints - not good value for money
The atmosphere and location of the university is the best. It is very student friendly, close to the city centre and there is lots of support for students on literally any query. It can be improved by changing the facilities as it looks not the best/cheap.
Leeds Uni is the best place for a proper student experience!! The social life is amazing. The student union (LUU) always have so much going on. There's always something for everyone. Spots like Terrace and Stylus (Fruity ;)) are absolute staples!! There are also opportunities to socialise for non-drinkers, with things like Crossroads in the union. The food spots on campus are INSANELY AMAZING from waki maki to bakery 164. Only improvements there would be, more halal food options on campus, e.g. if refectory, humpit etc. had halal meat options. The layout of the union is also great, with loads of spots to sit and work or socialise, or hold society events. Would love to see more expansion on spaces to host society events, like more rooms (such as the level 2 rooms) and halls like Riley Smith, Stylus and Pyramid. The societies at LUU tun amazing events!! There's always something for everyone, with every type of sport, faith, culture, art, academic society out there, so many great events are always happening. There are also workshops for skills, career developments, wellbeing etc. The student counselling and wellbeing service is an amazing setup, supporting so many students, helping us thrive at uni. The libraries run academic skills sessions which are really helpful and highly appreciated. The libraries on campus are great, each with a different vibe for different types of study sessions. Overall, there are lots of great study spots on campus. There are also lots of great cafes on campus, like LOMA cafe in the Worsley building a favourite for healthcare students and LGI staff.
Leeds itself is great and the University is not far from the city centre so that's a plus point if you want to go somewhere during breaks. Uni of Leeds is also very diverse not just in race but the communities and societies available can be as broad or as niche, catering to your interests. There are a lot of different activities you could do but these are usually promoted through uni emails/ social media accounts so you need to be looking for them if you want to find something to do. Also a lot of connections with businesses that can benefit your future careers, as well as global opportunities for those who like to travel and explore whilst studying. However, not enough staff support, and some staff (eg seminar leaders) are not engaging enough. Quite a dead class even if it's not a 9 am. Staff can be more engaging if you want students to engage. And sometimes you can feel quite lonely in class as people don't socialise in lessons. Make sure to speak up and talk with people around you!

The campus is near the city centre yet far enough away to give it a comfortable feel. The union is massive and has so many societies. The libraries are often full, making it difficult to find a study spot in the middle of the day even when it isn't exam season.
Not much one-on-one contact time with personal tutors, but most lecturers are happy to meet in their office and respond to emails with questions. Not much actual teaching aside from a few modules because the focus is on big independent projects. Very hard work if you want to do well but if you try then you generally get rewarded for it.
Loved Monty B, lots of green space outside and feels safe since it's on a gated property. People came in frequently during Covid to check that rules weren't being broken, not sure what it's like now.
