I do really enjoy this Uni and love studying at derby. The staff are very helpful, professional and very friendly. This course is really heavy with modules and I do not get much time to socialise as much as I would like, it has a good union and nightlife to enjoy.
I love derby, it's an amazing university. I'd recommend using your money wisely and spend as little as possible on a night out and keep it for essentials like books and food.
This university has been ok so far, but I have met some challengers along the way as well. My recommendation proudly be to make sure you know exactly what course you want to study beforehand as your doing it a long time.
I like uni, I like my course, I like the campus and the atrium to chill or to sit and do work in. The students union needs some improvement and the nightlife really isn't great.
I really enjoy being at uni, especially derby uni because I have met some amazing friends and without them I don't think k my experience of university would have been the same. I'd suggest being as outgoing as possible and get involved with lots of things to make friends.
This is plenty of help available from course lectures. Time management is key so you can enjoy going out and get the work done . Unit is defiantly what you make of it yourself.
This course has Been misleading, it is not what I had expected from the open day. The course is badly organise, it is a lot a lot of handwork and I do t get much time to socialise. I would suggest you ask a lot of questions about the course before you sign up.
.as a mature student and a single patent, I find Uni a struggle, this is only made worse by tutors who speak to me and others like a child and offer little support if any when hints get personally or academically difficult.
Umi has been a great experience so far. My course is really intense, even in my first year I struggled to fin enough time to enjoy the social aspect of uni as much as I would like. I would recommend getting a good balance and joining a club or society as it is a great way to make friends.
