So far it has been great apart from the problems im facing with my Cybersecurity Unit. As i said the tasks are very confusing to a point that several students have the same problem.
excellent . We are provided with enough support and tutors are friendly and approachable . we have enough book in the library and online as well. We have guest speakers from companies who explain to us the qualities the organisations are expecting from us.
It's a very supportive uni - the staff go out of their way to help you! Everyone is very friendly (as a mature student this was one of my worries). Support is there 100%, and everything about the uni is modern, clean and welcoming. I love going in, and I know I can get work done wherever and whenever because there are so many areas to relax and get settled, which is how I work best.
Very good so far but could be better. Get involved in clubs and societies from the first year, this helps to build friendship groups and to allow students to gain confidence.
My university experience at Solent University has been very good. I have not got many bad things to say about the university. The course is excellent, the tutors are passionate and the facilities are good. I have made friends for life here ( who I love cooking for;) ), which is great!
Is good experience for live to students in solent university. Living in Southampton, near seasides cities.living and study where for 3-4 years and who knows may you decide living where after you finish studied.
so far so good I guess. Just that if I get this voucher, it would be more amazing! Come to Solent!The facilities is amazing! You can get it and do what you want. Career support as well!
I'm so happy that i made this choice and i have a really good feeling for my future as a student here. I'm jest happy! Since i arrived at the city and saw the university i felt that this place is going to be my place. Now i know that i was right. I fit in, i love my course and even find it interesting and satisfactory to spend hours of studying.
Worth the money, such a variety of experiences. Loads of lessons learned not just academically. Freshers fair had loads of freebies and flyers and employers. Things to sign up to. And prizes to be won. Also the variety of things you learn about the industry your going into is incredible. Learnt loads and it only week 4.
Solent university has very good facilities and always improving them. Tutors are well educated . More support to the students would be something to consider. Sometimes it feels like they don’t go the extra mile.
Integration into UK type of learning and way of studying was quite difficult, as well as understanding the country's culture and people behaviour. I got used to everything
It has been a pleasure to study here. The library is a perfect place to study and sometimes is open 24 hours which makes it a perfect resource. I do think it should have more microwaves
Very good, one of the best moves i made. There is a community here that will welcome you with open arms and wants to do everything in its power to make your Uni experience everything and more than what you imagined it to be. So, use what Solent offers you to your advantage and do not be afraid to ask for help, know that you are doing a great work by following your dreams.
I am enjoying uni life so far! Still getting used to having to cook and clean a lot more often than i am used to but i have to start it at some point so it may as well be at uni. My flat mates are caring and enjoyable to be around. My course is interesting, despite including units ive already covered in pass years. And overall i highly recommend Southampton solent as its making me more and more confident in myself everyday

Enjoying the life at university as I have made many new friends! Creating Art is the passion of mine . Hard work and can be challenging sometimes . Overall I look forward to going !! The lectures teachers are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Very approachable
Good. Academic and emotional support available when needed and accessible. Frustrating having to come such a long way for an hours lecture though and parking is expensive.
