Bristol is the most amazing city to live in, it’s impossible to get bored. It’s got amazing nightlife but also a lot of wholesome things to do in the day. I find my course is much more rigorous than I had anticipated - you can decide if that’s a good or bad thing !
Immersing in student life in bristol is the best
Nice spaces to study but not enough of them

I have enjoyed studying in bristol. there are many opportunities and a good community here. I enjoy visiting new places and areas of the city as well as joining in new clubs and activities. I have had family and friends visit a lot as they also enjoy the city with me. I think bristol campus is sometimes difficult to get to with not a lot of transport links to the campus, mostly to the city centre and it is very expensive to live within a 25 minute walk to the campus. I think accommodation could be improved
Bristol as a city is great for students - as long as you don't mind walking up a good few hills! There are so many great and welcoming sports and societies. I have found the work load in first year to be not too much, but enough to keep me busy. The campus is really lovely and in such a good location. Bristol wasn't my first choice for uni but I am so glad I've ended up here.
Good facilities and great student union. My accommodation in first year was quite appalling though, and the Uni is greedy.
vibrant city, lots to do, the students union is amazing, the facilities are all modern
My university is a right place to study because they provides all the materials and useful tools for theirs students to succeed and maintain their reputation. To improve the school should provides more informations issues for theirs students like some information boards in class so that those who don't have access to theirs phone or PC will be inform and know the commons events and commons importants things to do

The best part is my course as I love studying history, I sometimes find it difficult to socialise despite the fact I am quite a sociable person. I also love the university football. I think assessments would be better if they were more frequent and less weight bearing.
It’s a very diverse uni and you can do a variety of activities even if you don’t like clubbing
Best - place, buildings, environment Worst - mental health support, strikes
Bristol is a lovely place to live The support for my course could definitely be improved
The student welfare and support is basically non existentant, and if you do get it they don’t care about you
Poor mental wellbeing support
The area, the facilities
I love the study spaces.
The study spaces are really good and the courses are taught well and interestingly, however our exam timetables are given too late and not enough detail or support is given in how we go about them. As a first hear adjusting was hard and I would've liked more direction in the readings.
More clear feedback on assessments would be useful.

Well-structured lessons, really good libraries/study spaces, always so much provided resource-wise that there you are never bored with the course in general. Improvements - more support for year abroad planning, difficulty in finding housing!!!! Sometimes not all the books are digitalised - very hard to access them when you need them when you're at home over the holidays writing an essay.
Interesting - but only after first year, as you actually get to choose your modules in second year, so the course became a lot more interesting and I became a lot more motivated and put more effort into my assignments since I was studying something I wanted to! Very little contact hours - has its benefits and drawbacks - gives us a lot of time for essential reading etc, but I feel like there should be much more time for French grammar and especially speaking/discussion skills in French, as there is very little of this in the actual contact hours. Essay support is very good throughout all of my modules.
Benefits - Amazing central city location - One of the cheaper accommodations Drawbacks - Management can be quite ignorant with serious issues like mould - Tip - sort out issues as soon as possible, by yourself - the longer you wait for the staff to attend and fix anything, the worse it will get!
