I am enjoying my new independence at uni. I do not think my course is as enjoyable as my A level performing arts was. I hoping things improve in the second and third years. I wish there was more practical and hands on classes so I can fulfill my career ambitions
I do like living and being in this vibrant interesting city with my fellow vibrant and ineresting students. it is quite an intellectual place and you will find your brain neing stimulated in many ways. The accomodations are rubbish though small and expensive. Eye candy good if you want to take a brain check.
it is fine here really quite upper class with the actual Cambridge uni here ok yah?? But on the whole my friends are pretty down to earth and sorted for soundness, One other thing uv mapping is really dumb but on the plus side at least it puts us on the map. We are up there with the best of them, ok yah.
I do really like and enjoy my course it has helped my evolve learn and expand my horizons I am really pleased with the content and quality of my course. I would advise you to make friends with people on your course as soon as possible as you can use them as overnight accomodation and free food.
The course is not what I expected. We were made to believe it would be more practical and intense drama. The Shakespeare course was advised to have an element of practice to help the students, but there was none! The uni as a whole does not have a community atmosphere. There are not enough parties at all! Also book funding should not be more than £100.
it is been enjoyable the only advice i would give is just to relax be confident meet new people and please do not get too bogges down in work. Do realsie if you are struggling that everyone is in the same boat and be sure to make use of your study time to help prevent you getting overwhelemed with strss.
As much as I have enjoyed my time here I do wish i had the confidence that I will have a career path when I graduate in the summer. The course has been good but not met all my expectations unfortunately. If i was to choose a uni again for my course I probably would not choose ARU!
Great city to study. lots to do for students and lots of student nights at bars and clubs University it iself does not have the best facilities and I find myself envious of friends universities when I have gone to visit them
so overall my experience of studying at Anglia has been really a positive one I did struggle with accomodation though as I was living in Hatfield and because of this I could not get accomodation as I was too close. On top of this I found it really hard to get some private accomodation and the cost was higher than i had budgeted for and highter than the cost of living in halls which was dissapointing.
As an anti social person who does not drink Anglia is great. I have barely interacyed with anyone outside my course, I really enjoy the lectures most of the time and the illustration course allows me to be creative whilst at the same time being intellectually challeenged. I am enjoying my time here.
Within university you have to be prepared and organised with your and make sure the course you have chosen is the right one for you. University is not for everyone and the hard work takes a lot of concentration. Just remember to have fun.
I really like the uni experience I fell Anglia Ruskin lacks in many of the student experience that other uni's seem to offer and benefit it. I would advise you to get involved as otherwise being here can be more reflective of a a college environment easily. Be active and involved in ARU as much as possible.
university is the most exciting and liberating thing that you will do in your early adult life it makes you the person that you will besome a better more knowledgable less relaint and more confident version of you. My university year s have been some of the best days of my life to date Reccomended.
I am really enjoying my experience at Anglia Ruskin Uni school of arts. As an international student I felt very welcome both in the uni and my halls. I have made friends quite easily and I have met people from all walks of like. The course here offers more workshops and facilities compared with my own country. I am extremely happy :)
the course is great lectures are very enthusiastic and expert in their field ARU doesnt have much historythere are a lot of efforts to promotoe clubs and associates especially sports but there doesnt seem to be any identity associated with the uni. A lot of alcohol nights are promoted not as much as general uni gatherings.
Encourage your peers to make your course the one that others wish they could get into Rememeber to all work together support each other and learn from each other it is all part of a team. Remember that you input effects the reputation of the course.
I very much enjoy it Bring lots of money as Cambridge is a very expensive place to live for students. Make use of all the support the tutors offer. Great student lifestyle here in Cambridge.
I do hope that the rest of my time spent here at Anglain Ruskin University is as good as the start has been what can I say it is an awesome place to study and be part of a great student community. Cambridge city centre is awesome too especially in the summer and the staff at the uni and the lectures are really good.
I am enjoying my time here however if one more person tries to get me to vote I wll eat my own hand. Aprart from that though it has proven to be a rewarding experience but for neraly 9000a year I was expecting this place to be solid gold with chocolate fountain s and stars formed from rainbows.

After three years here I am ready to leave the clubs get boring after about a year as it is the same every time getting part time work is pretty good, honestly it is the most exopensive place to live apart from London staff are helpfull but can be rude so do be persistant. Overall not bad for a place in clearing.
