No night life, very few clubs and societies, accommodation is appalling, facilities are out dated and just all around not what uni is meant to be like.
Great library and cafe, has Transformation which is beautiful. Cant think of how it could be improved
I think university professors should put more effort into students. The group assignments/presentations should be completely removed as for most of the ones I have received I had to work mainly alone. I have accumulated a huge debt due to the courses that have to be paid annually with nothing to show for it. Honestly, I haven't learned anything as all I had to do to pass was to do different assignments, without actually having exams to study for. Overall a total waste of time and money.

The support my uni gives is the best.
Go to a better rated university for a professional degree. I wish I had listened before I became massively in debt with nothing to show for it. My grades were excellent but due to the poor placement I received I could not finish my course. I begged for support and notified them of the problem multiple times and nothing was ever done!
The guidance I was given by careers advisers when younger was poor and I did not have the resources that you guys have. I tried to share my experiences by writing a review on here. I don't know why it is not on here now. I have never been able to get a job with my degree and would not recommend Anglia Ruskin University. I was naïve when younger and did not realise how decisions that you make can be a factor later in life. I am assuming you would like a long term career until retirement. One of the things you need to consider is why staff turnover is so high is some occupations such as teaching. I am applying for vacancies within the railways and hardly anyone leaves once accepted. In terms of promotion prospects, experience and qualifications you need to think of the long term
Really amazing! The city is of course beautiful and a pleasure to live in, the university is lively and modern with fantastic lecturers and there's always something to do so you'll never have to be lonely and so you can be as involved as you want in your uni experience.
Overall I am very confident for the start of my career of my career after university. I have gained a lot of skills from being approachable and not worried to start a conversation to writing emails and academic texts. My design skills have improved massively so has my time management and organisation.
Ive loved the experience here, a few teething problems as with any uni, but the tutors are passionate and well educated and experienced in their fields and makes the whole experience much more enjoyable
I have started 3 universities prior to Anglia Ruskin University, I have never finished any of those 3. This my number 4 and I am rest assured I am going to get my degree and carry further on to get the masters. I hope this delivers my impression and overall experience so far.
I had a wonderful experience, lots of things to do socially, plus a great a student citycity.
