I have had a great time whilst at uni so far and have felt I have progressed my skills within my study area incredibly since begining my course. I feel much more equipt for the working industry and the area in which I want to work. However, I feel like some areas whilst at uni did not feel like a uni atmosphere. For example, a lack in societies has meant I haven't joined as many clubs or groups as I would've liked to. Also, a lack in SU resturant/bar/club type building like other universities have has meant I don't feel like there is much of a community feel within the campus.
Really fun, I've learnt a lot, not just about my course, as my life experiences have expanded too!! I don't have a lot of moeny but things like the beach and house parties ensure i can still have fun and not spend a lot
Great. Made lots of friends and improved a lot this year in my work. It is a great location and nice to be by the sea. There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the city but also to collaborate with BU, the university close to our campus.
Overall my experience has been good, you need to be an outgoing person as the university provides a lot of opportunities, but will not spoon feed them to you. I have also been able to become involved with the running of the university through a Student Ambassador scheme where students are able to help run events and influence decisions
Arts university Bournemouth is one of the top arts universities in England and has great links from which we can get inspiration and ideas. The tutors and staff are helpful and encouraging and the campus is lovely and has many resources which we can use.
Really great uni bursting with creative minds and wonderful opportunities, the course is interesting and diverse offering skills that other similar courses don't offer. Would recommend this university to anyone interested in working in the arts industry.
The Uni itself is a lovely, friendly environment, and feels more like a studio or industry like a University. It is also incredible with student support and also student activities and giving students a voice. The animation department is perfect for me- the staff all have industry experience and links, and the employability rate is about 70-80% in the animation industry.
Wifed range of Courses within the Arts, from Digital media, Film to costume, fashion, Fine Art and Architecture. While tutors/lecturers may be practiced in their field, it does not necessarily mean they are competent at teaching in a lecture hall, and it is often a struggle to get your hands on equipment given some of the courses seem to be massively over subscribed.

its been okay but the university needs improving prepare to be independent and poor communication between tutors self teach yourself software be prepared for a sick nightlife and social life
