- amazing student welfare department, I always feel supported - The location is great, good night life whilst not feeling too intense or overwhelming - Engaging course leaders - Nice campus

- Lecturers always respond within 24 hours for feedback on work on top of their hours in class - The careers department is constantly sending out emails about placements and internships - I myself have won a placement working with Leeds Culture Trust which is amazing!

Leeds Arts University is the most supportive administration that I have attended. They have many different resources and areas to go to for support. I have never felt lost or out of reach of somewhere when I really needed it. The tutors are supportive and check-in often, trying to ensure everyone is up to speed. They understand that everyone work in different ways and they encourage us to find our own ways of learning that work for us. They teach in a way that encourages individualism and creativity. There are some issues with clear communication and clarification that are a little frustrating for many students. But as the student rep, I'm aware that it is being actively tackled. However, one incident at university is that my skills and capability are often doubted, if I have volunteered for something or I am asking for extra work etc there have been multiple occasions when my tutors have doubted me and tried to discourage this act. I understand they don't want me to burn out, but there are other ways to support.

The tutors are incredibly supportive and look out for your best interest. They check in often and always assist when they need to. It is difficult that we don't have more time in university, in scheduled sessions. I would prefer more work and challenges.
