The interaction and opportunities and the contact time with the lecturers

The teaching is a little mixed, some of the lecturers are beyond good but some of them just don't know how to teach whether it be waffling off topic or boring the class. You get multiple lecturers so it's not that big of a deal. The library is very good, it has lots of space for different kinds of studying eg individual, collaborative, IT suites etc. There's a Greggs and talk of a KFC and Chancellors has a Costa. There's a thing called Weigh To Go which is like a sustainable area to lessen single use plastic with items like lentils. The SU nights are alright, Wednesday with the society socials is the best, the drinks are pretty cheap. There's the KPA which is run by mostly students, the food is really good and us staff are treated really well. We often get this company called Planet Donut that come with a stand and their donuts are y u m. Accommodation is quite nice. I lived in new Barnes and liked it, got to see most of the other accommodation and thought they were all pretty good. Campus is quite nice. In 1st year I took walks around it and its fun to see all the squirrels.

All my classes are face to face except for the strikes. You can email the lecturers whenever and they'll usually get back to you quickly even out of office hours. Some of my seminar leaders have been the lecturer so you get lots of contact with them.

There's a few good activities around like LaserQuest, Waterworld, Vue cinema with massive chairs, escape rooms and some really good restaurants - the asian restaurants are specifically good. Location is quite good for hiking bc you can drive about an hour to go countryside like Thor's Cave. Or you can drive an hour to go Alton Towers.

It's good accommodation, can't fault it too much. Only issues we had was things broke easily but that's never seen as your fault and maintenance will fix it quickly. Laundry is Circuit laundry which is pricey and isn't reliable
