Best aspects of my uni experience is the nightlife Worst aspects is that sports socials aren’t the same as my friends universities in england as there are less socials and sports don’t have options to play the sport socially most only allowing for varsity so it’s harder to pick up a new sport Also some individuals are very sectarian so can be unwelcoming at times

The tutors reply very quickly and are very nice and understanding.

The halls is very social and has a lot of activities on with good security However room allocation isn’t great as some flats end up being mostly international which is unfair for the other students as there is a lack of mix of students. This sometimes contributes to people only becoming friends with people of there nationality

BEST: Fab facilities and study spaces for students between the main building, SU, library and various faculty buildings; massive wealth of support available for students at uni, faculty, and school levels such as counselling sessions, peer mentors, personal tutors and different SU initiatives; lots happening around the university and Botanic area for people of all interests and great opportunities for professional development. WORST: Fee cost; understanding gap between high level admins/VPs and regular staff/students; occasional issues trying to get clear info from admin teams

BEST: Fantastically engaging and supportive teaching staff; good grounding in the subjects in first year and a wide variety of modules to study in third year so you can research things you're really interested in; primarily assignment-based so few or no exams; leaves you open to a wide variety of career options WORST: lack of travel or internship opportunities directly through the course, can be done but has to be organised yourself
