Facilities are amazing, societies cover a range of interests and hobbies, staff are engaging, student union is active and easy to contact. Accessibility information is sometimes provided following significant push from students. The main issues lie with the higher staff as a whole. Communication about university wide issues is often vague or not provided, and many seem hesitant to listen to feedback despite asking students to give up their time to provide it. Decisions aren't often explained or are explained poorly, leading to confusion. General trust in staff is low. Admin team and disability / mental health services is lacking - appointments with mentors often need to be booked months in advance and are frequently cancelled short notice, which causes a lot of distress as someone with ASD and mental health concerns. Contradictory information is often given by different teams and is not corrected until the last minute, which is especially problematic when it is information concerning modules and semester timetables.

Course hours change weekly which can be frustrating, but are often fairly well balanced. Mostly taught in person in a large lecture hall with some practicals taking place in labs or computer rooms, but most lectures are recorded and uploaded after class to allow for online learning or catching up. Staff are engaged on the most part and seem passionate about what they teach, although some seem to put in minimal effort and simply read copy and pasted information for the hour. Contact with lecturers is limited outside of class, and as lectures take place in a large lecture hall it can be difficult to ask questions or engage with the lecturers on a personal level. Contact with tutors is even more limited - only 3-4 hours a term are spent with the tutors, making the bond between tutor and tutee feel weak.

Overall very positive. Halls are well stocked with facilities and act as both a strong social and personal space. Cleaning staff come round once a week and are always bright and friendly, helping to keep the social areas suitable for use. Location is beautiful but can be a little tricky to access on days where I have limited mobility. Security are available 24/7, ensuring safety and assistance if it's ever required, and I've had mostly positive experiences with the team - the same goes for the Wardens team, although I don't see them often. Only downside is the response time for things like noise complaints and maintenance issues, which make me resistant to get in touch when things go wrong as I don't fully trust that my feedback will be acted on.

It's an amazing Univeristy that is located perfectly as everything is within walking distance, teachers are very good and the facilities for studying is perfect. Maybe adding another student common room to relax in during lesson breaks would be perfect and a little more options for vegan people as I have trouble with getting hot drinks as they don't really provide alternative milk.

The university currently offers online and in-class lessons which I appreciate for when I'm under the weather. You have about 3/6 hours of a subject a week which are spread out in the week so it may even come down to having an extra full day off in the week which I think helps us students de-stress and focuse more on our work. It's very easy to contact teachers and tutors, they will get back to you with a reply within 24h which I appreciate when I stress about something and if you ask for a meeting you will be met with a positive outcome and feeling less stressed or worried about something.

It's amazing as everything is within walking distance. There's a shipping centre not even 10/15 min walk from student accommodation and there's more further out. I don't think there's alot of job opportunities in Bangor but you can find work in Llandudno which is a 20/30min train ride away which is perfect for a day out.

The basics for the kitchen is included like kettle and microwave so u need to bring ur own kitchen pots and pans. You get a draw and a decent size cupboard to store everything and a shelf I'm the fridge same goes for the freezer. Rooms are a good decent size with enough storage. If you book an en-suit bathroom It's an OK size. Water will go all over the floor but dries quickly. Several launderettes on site and ok price. You are able to do fit 2 washes in the same drier as they are spacious especially if u use the big ones.
