Marjon is a small university and as such creates a community atmosphere. In my experience, previous lecturers will stop and make the time to enquire about how I am progressing in subsequent courses and even though they are no longer teaching me they make the time to provide support. Current lecturers seem supportive too.

This is a on campus course and all lessons are in person. It would benefit from incorporating more blended learning. It also needs to be more supportive for mature students.

Student support services are phenomenal, they do everything they can to assist you while you're studying and ultimately keep you on the course.
I haven't had many dealings with student life and the students' union, but the ones I have have been exceptional.
The PGCE is hard, as can be expected - but the course staff work really hard to support you and ensure you stay on track.

The PGCE is hard. All PGCEs are. But Marjon staff work really hard to support you and keep you on track. They offer weekly meeting while you're on placement if you need them and are always there to answer emails. They know all their students personally and work hard to build strong, supportive relationships. The majority of partnership schools are fantastic, and if any issues arise course staff are happy to intervene to ensure you get the best experience you can.
