The best parts of my university experience include access to resources, including digital resources. The support and ease of communication with staff is excellent. The staff are very supportive and offer 1:1 support if required. The librarian for the school of medicine is extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

The teaching is primarily in-class with lots of guided self-study which can be carried out online. The course content has good overlap with students studying for a PGCE (non-clinical teaching qualification). Whilst we haven't yet been offered any formal work placements or internships, the opportunity to help out with medical education in young undergraduate medical education has been mentioned. The lecturers and teaching quality is second to none, with an emphasis on small group teaching and discussions. Tutor contact time is once weekly for 4 hours, but could be increased. However, there is always the opportunity to organise a teams call or email a tutor for further information and support.
